HOT GARBAGE
Quite possibly the worst studio series figure to date. This has got to be the worst and cheapest thing I have ever spent 18$ on. Do not buy this thing. Save your money, I instantly returned it. Please do not buy this.

    I got this figure for my birthday and the figure is epic!! The figure has great articulation, a great paint job and he comes with a rather cool accessory: Laserbeak. Laserbeak is all great except for the eyes which are red. The figure turns into a Mercedes and you can store Laserbeak on top of the vehicle. You can not put him inside Soundwave. Recommend this figure for people over the age of 5.

    Great Figure
    This is a fantastic figure, and a great rendition of Soundwave from Dark of the Moon. The figure looks great in both of its modes and isn't too bad to transform. Though, it suffers from some tolerance issues. The front parts of the fenders and bumper, where the headlights are, can pop off when transforming due to how little clearance there is. The left one on mine is really bad about this. But, they're just on ball joints and pop right back on. This doesn't ruin my enjoyment of the figure one bit, though. The silver paint used on the figure is gorgeous, I love how they're not afraid to use generous amounts of paint on the Studio Series figures. The rest of the paint on Soundwave is mostly on the head, with everything else molded in appropriately colored plastic. The only accessory he comes with is the best one, a little Laserbeak. Laserbeak is cool and can perch on Soundwave's arm. Though, Laserbeak is just molded in gray plastic with only his eyes painted. It would be nice if Soundwave came with a gun, as he has one in the film, but I guess there just wasn't room in the budget. Still, this is a great figure and worth a pick up if you like DOTM Soundwave.
