Great addition to our wooden trains
I bought this little wooden engine and "coal" car for my two-year-old nephew to add to his Brio train track collection. It's a great addition. The magnets are powerful enough to pull at least six other cars around the track, and it seems very well made and is hopefully sturdy enough to endure the many adventures on which he will go with the other wooden trains. I am very happy with this purchase and I definitely recommend it to others.

Very Study but Magnet Not Strong Enough
My son absolutely loved this train. The wood was very sturdy and held up during the many times that he would drop it (he's 3 and literally drops everything.) The only thing that kept frustrating him was that when he would try to turn the train around or move fast with it, the magnet wouldn't hold. The train would end up separating and that would really upset him. As long as he stayed straight, it worked with no issues. Overall, I would say that my son enjoyed the toy. Just wish it had been a little stronger in terms of the magnet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    great little train
    I like to let my grandson pick out his own trains. He takes most of them home, and I thought he had all of the wooden trains. Hiro will stay here so we can connect them all together.

    Beautifully built to last.
    I love Thomas and friends because they are a good and wholesome show.Hiro is a great character because he finds the good in people and takes pride in being a good friend.I like that a lot because it teaches kids to be nice and kind because it feels good.I love that te train is made out wood and made to last with beautifull detail.     Awesome quality
    I gave the train to my son for his birthday and it was his favorite present. It is built very strong to withstand a 3 year old and has such awesome detail.     My son loved it!!
    I received this wooden Hiro and my son absolutely loved it. When I showed him what it was his face just lit up. He's been playing with it for days and even taking it to bed.     Great wooden train
    This wooden train works well with our existing trains and track. My three year old loves playing with it! The only downside is that the third wheel on the engine makes it a bit harder to navigate really curvy tracks. Otherwise, it is a great addition for any train lover!     Great for Imaginative Play!
    My son had so much fun playing with this Thomas & Friends Wood Hiro train! The magnet feature is nice to connect and disconnect the coal truck, as well as other trains, too. The painting is very detailed and the product is of great quality. We used it on our wooden train track set and took Thomas on all kinds of fun adventures!
