Kids enjoy it, but hard to use
My twin 5-year olds do enjoy playing with this toy, however they find it had to use. Thomas is constantly running around the track, which makes it difficult to snap the yellow digger back in its spot again before you need to raise Thomas up to the top again. Even with two children playing together, it is hard for them. I have also noticed Thomas only correctly lands on the yellow digger half the time, while the other half of the time he just sits there on the yellow blaster because he didn't land in the grooves correctly. I also dislike the fact that the set cannot be easily taken apart by the kids when they are done playing as it takes up a lot of space. That said, my kids do enjoy this toy, just don't play with it long before they give up and move on to something else. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Super fun!!!
    I bought this for my son about a month ago. He just turned 10 and he's on the spectrum. He LOVES this toy!!! I'm very impressed that it was so easy to assemble. My son has played with it everyday. My 12 year old daughter actually plays with it too because it really is fun. The way Thomas zooms around the track with Dusty pushing boulders out of the way is really fun to watch!!

    Super fast assembly & fun
    My 5 year old son just loves Thomas & Friends train sets and Cave Collapse was no exception. The assembly took less than 10 minutes and he loved the boulders. It would be awesome if there was a way to connect this set with others we have, but I think there would be an issue getting Thomas to Darcy. This toy didn't hold my sons attention for hours, but I have yet to find something that does. The hand crank to take Thomas up the mineshaft elevator was his favorite part.     Non-Stop Fun !
    My son couldn't wait to point out all the features of Thomas' front end loader, even before he opened the box. Upon actually opening the box, he turned it around to illustrate exactly how the toy worked. He explained how the tank goes from the top of the mountain and crushes boulders along the way...THEN he actually opened the package. ha ha! My son had a lot of fun with this toy and continues to play with it every day. Additionally, we saw it in a local Target store last weekend and he ran right up to it to point out the other tracks and toys available.     My kids love it!
    My kids received this toy over the weekend. As soon as my three year old son saw the box he yells Thomas! The setup was easy and it fit perfectly on our current train table. My son along with my daughters ages 6, 9, and 11 enjoyed and still are enjoying this product. They love the fact that it is motorized. My son learned how to turn the wheel to make Thomas go up and the balls fall just by watching his sisters do it one time. The only negative part about this toy is you don't have a lot of time to put the balls and Darcy back before Thomas comes around again. I think the track should've been a little longer for this. Other than that this product is definitely one that is providing a lot of entertainment for my kids especially my three year old! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Thomas & Friends are great!!!
    My son was so excited when I gave him this set! Immediately, he started ripping into it to get to all the pieces. It does require an adult, or in my case, his older siblings to help put the set together. It also requires 2 AAA batteries to make the motorized Thomas go, but until I could find the batteries, my son was playing with it just fine. I like the interaction required to make the set work.
