Ready to Rock Middle Earth.
Just got this Collection super fast. Slight crinkle on the card board sleeve. Other then that its in perfect condition. Looking forward to an awsome marathon.

    Nice set
    I am happy to have all the movies in a nice set. The collection is nice and I wanted to rate higher but the case was busted when it arrived. On another note tho it did arrive unbelievably fast tho so that was nice.

    THIS IS THE THEATRICAL VERSION, NOT THE EXTENDED.
    The reason this has so many bad reviews is because 1) It's the theatrical release, NOT the extended version. In the case of both movies its a wildly differrent viewing experience, theatrical versus extended....ESPECIALLY with the Hobbit trilogy. Rewatching The Hobbit movies on HBOMax really drove it home for me, the amount of content not present in the extended version was quite impactful on the viewing experience...at least for me. My mind is still blown over all the scenes that werent in the theatrical version of The hobbit, from fillm 1 to the battle of the five armies. The extended versions are just better.

    walmart needs the extended edition
    ok walmart needs the extended edition of this. once you watch those you cant go back to this. good movies just bad for the theatrical edition. the extended is a better deal id think.

    Good investment for a lover of this trilogy
    Amazing deal for this box set. Absolutely love this trilogy! Also, I don't know why this has so many negative reviews. Nowhere on this box or description does it say it comes with a digital copy. I'm perfectly content with the disk versions anyway. These other customers are silly.

    I was under the impression I was getting a Digital Copy with this. My guess is someone in the marketing department online got the wrong info. because I don't have a Digital Copy in my purchase of this.
