A Helpful Friend In The Kitchen
I'm new to type 2 diabetes. I ordered this cookbook to get ideas for better eating. Not only are there new twist on traditional recipes but tips on buying guides, photo guides on preparations, evaluations of products and produce. With photos and clear instructions, I'm encouraged to try new dishes and ingredients. Each dish is accompanied by a break down of nutrients including sugars and serving size, which were two items missing in other cookbooks I purchased. There is a section for slow cooker recipes so I can prepare ahead while I'm at work. I'm looking forward to putting this helpful knowledge to use.
