Ordering during Covid is a Horrible experience
Missing pieces! Parts came in two shipments. We didn't have a chance to open the boxes until our son moved to his dorm in late September and when we tried to put it together we couldn't for it was missing pieces and instructions to build this desk!! Biggest disappointment was when we were told our window to return this desk was closed!!! Now what! Last time I order from this site.

    I am quite pleased with this unit. Assembly went well. The drawers roll easily and fit well. I have a 32" monitor and 19" keyboard and there was plenty of space for both. Delivery caught me by surprise. Box 2 of 2 arrived two days early and box 1 of 2 arrived the next day. Just read the directions thoroughly before you start.

    Short screws.
    I didnt get the right screws. 2 of them were too short to use so I had to buy some from the store. Other than that it's pretty good. The video doesn't match the instructions when it comes to the labeled pieces so it took me a minute to figure that out.

    Bad bad bad
    Its still not assembled. The handyman came and never finished putting it together. Im still waiting for the new handyman to come and finish the assembly. The first handy man scratched the desk in many places and said hes missing screws so he has to come back. Terrible experience.

    I was not too sure about the desk after I purchased it but once it arrived and assembled it was perfect. Not too big nor too small, perfect color. The only complaint I have is that when it was delivered the box was opened and when we went to bring inside not knowing-the items fell out.

    Defective product and return process cumbersome. Walmart asked to contact with manufacturer ?!!!! This product is 7 days old and chipped at 3 places....

    Very satisfied with purchase and delivery.
    Instructions were above average for RTA furniture. It took me about 2.5 hours to put together myself using a hand screwdriver. (One is included in the kit but the handle is pretty short.) The drawers could each be 2 inches deeper for better storage - it would have just required the manufacturer to change the placement of the grooves for the bottom, and make the sides slightly taller or re-center the drawer glides. I just deplore wasted space like that. My only other gripe is that some glue from the lamination process is smeared on a few pieces - only on the inside/undersides, luckily, so no one but me will know. I appreciate the rounder corners on the front and on the edges of the drawers. It's a solid piece with a decent amount of storage, and at a great price. Product arrived on time and undamaged, despite being heavy (it's packed in 2 boxes). The keyboard tray is sturdy, the drawer glides are too, and I think overall this desk will hold up for a long time. I did purchase a clear plastic desk protector to keep the top undamaged. Photo shows the mahogany version, which is darker than I expected.

    Great Desk, Exceeded Expectations
    I recently ordered 3 desks from Hayneedle for my 3 teen/pre-teen sons. I let each son choose and this was the one I was nervous about--for no reason. The desk is sturdy and stylish, and the mahogany color was just what we wanted to match his bed headboard. My husband said this was the easiest of the desks to assemble. The drawers move smoothly and seem secure. All pieces were included and in great condition on arrival.
