Very drying instead of moisturizing
I have fine, thin hair with wavy curls that needs a lot of moisture. I thought I'd give this a try because of the reviews. Instead of providing moisture, it sucked it right out of my hair. My hair was left limp, frizzy and a bit brittle. After just a few uses, I gave up and threw it away. It was no more effective than the basic bargain brand even though it costs more.

    Dry?
    Don't like the smell (a bit artificial) . It definitely made my hair feel extra curly for the first few times but after a few washes I realize that it really dries out my hair and it looses its curl as well.? I can't figure out whether it's the bad combination of that and my leave-in hair oil or not.

    So sad that they changed the formula! :(
    New formula is a bust. I have been using the Tresemme Flawless Curls since I was a teenager with very little deviation to other products. I thought that my nose was still messed up from covid and that was why it didn't smell the same the last time I bought it(after having a hard time finding it in my usual stores for a couple months) but I confirmed with a couple family members that the smell is different, it is now very perfumey. Whatever new ingredients they put in or maybe just the fragrance made my scalp break out and I had serious issues for about a month with open sores and scaling around my crown area. After everything healed on the off chance it was some other product I did a patch test with the same bottle and the same thing happened. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, but sharing in case anyone else has similar issues.

    Ruined a great product!
    I have been using Tresemme products for 40 years and now I can't use them anymore! Everything in your "Flawless Curls" line you've dumped coconut oil into! I am allergic to coconut oil. So disappointed! The avocado mixed in with it just makes it sickeningly sweet smelling too - even my dog can't stand it! Help me find a curl-locking product that doesn't have all this added stuff - unscented works for me.

    Great conditioner....nauseating new smell
    I have used this conditioner for years. They recently changed the formula and the conditioner is really great for my thick curly dry hair. Sadly, they decided an intensely strong fake coconut smell was needed...I literally can't use this now because the smell is so strong and nauseating. Forget smelling perfume or anything else except this gross chemical smell of coconuts. The old version was a soft fruity smell that was nice and subtle. For the record, real coconut oil has no scent so this is so unnecessary. Why so strong, Tresemme? So disappointed

    I was so disappointed that you changed the formula. I have been using the tresseme curl hydration conditioner for over 10 years. My hair was trained and my curls were tight.. Now my hair gets frizzy and the curls arent as tight as they were.. I know with a new product you have to train your hair but this is disappointing.

    idk why people say this is greasy
    I've seen reviews where people have said that this conditioner makes your hair greasy and it is so far from the truth. I've been using this product for a few weeks now and I've never had my hair feel greasy from using it. maybe people aren't using conditioner correctly because that's the only way I can think of to misuse this product. Don't slap conditioner on your scalp and your scalp won't look greasy! It's really not that complicated lol. I even put some of this product in my hair after I get out of the shower and I still have absolutely no problem with it being "greasy". Overall it is a great bargain for an awesome product (: I will definitely buy it again!
