My husband had the exact same watch for 10 years. He wore it every day. It finally gave out a month ago. So I bought him a new one because he is in love with this type watch. This is a great and long lasting watch. He was so happy to get his watch back again. The picture is of the 10 year old watch he had. He loved that thing so I got him one of the same.

    Poor performance.
    The first watch I received, the face light stopped working after a couple weeks. They replaced it. The second watch recently stopped working entirely. All the of the past watches I have had of this type lasted for years. Must be old stock.

    Great watch but needs a better wristband
    I love Timex iron Man watches I've had several of them. Unfortunately the weakest part of the package is the watch band which doesn't last half as long as the watch itself. I've already had to repair it. The buckle popped off when I was taking off a long sleeve garment the other day. The metal part of the buckle popped out of its spring hasp.

    Very Durable and Reliable Watch
    This is my second Timex Ironman watch. My first one lasted for 5-1/2 years of daily use and abuse. I hope this one lasts just as long. If you are looking for a durable watch, this is the one!

    Glad I Decided To Give This Great Watch a Try
    Great Watch: -Super comfortable watch! The most comfy I've ever strapped on. -I totally forget its on my wrist. -It doesn't move around at all on my 6 inch wrist and that's a first. -The locking tang on the strap's tongue in genius! -I love the large, easy to read numerals. This is better than on my G-Shocks for sure. -I really do like the programmable features more than on my G-Shocks. Easier to figure out and setup. -3 alarms are a big plus for me. They are louder than on G-Shocks; the Ironman alarms actually wake me up. -I think the Occasions function is vet useful. -Make sure to download the instruction pdf from the Timex webpage. For some stupid reason they don't include instructions in the box with the watch.

    I like the TIMEX "Ironman" watch for everyday workman's "rough house" use. The only negative warning I have to the manufacturer is that the one piece of strap fell off when I took it off from the plastic shipping holder. I was able to seat the two little pins that stick out from the band into the small holes on the watch. I don't see how the packer/assembler managed to strap it on to the plastic holder without it coming apart. Sounds like a quality control problem.

    I'm a lifer: This is my fourth watch of this kind
    I've owned four of these watches over the past ten years or so because I love this model that much. It has three alarms that I use all the time as a reminder to do various things throughout the day. It has two to three time zone settings that make it easy to “spring forward” or “fall back” during daylight savings. It has a stopwatch feature to count laps and times while running, and it has a timer I use all the time to count down when baking or cooking. The downside is each watch only tends to last about three years if I wear them 24/7. I save old ones in case a band breaks on my new one. Despite having to replace it every few years, I'm still sold on this particular Timex.
