Versatile and cool!
This backpack is perfect for everyday use or overnight travel. It is very well made and the material is heavy duty so no matter what you put in it, you can be assured it will hold up and not fall apart or tear up like some of those flimsy backpacks out there. I use this one to carry my laptop and tablet because it has a water resistant bottom and a built in usb port. It also has 4 exterior pouches for all my cords and accessories!

I bought and returned 3 times because the rip from bad sewing. You see the inside seem does not touch at the end. I do sewing and I know how to chec for seem. It has not even get to use it yet. It came apart.

    Great Travel Backpack!
    I recently received this SwissTech Urban Trek 18” Travel Backpack with USB Port in a steel blue shade. It is made of a very sturdy material similar to nylon denier but described as a durable polyester. This backpack has a number of uses including short term travel, hiking, biking, school, and pretty much anywhere you need to carry a backpack. It has nicely padded shoulder straps which really come in handy on a long bike ride or hiking trip. The straps don't dig in like some I've owned in the past. This could be the bag you keep packed and grab it when you have to leave in a hurry. The backpack has six exterior zippered compartments to hold pretty much everything you need to take with you. It has a laptop pocket and a trolley sleeve which is most convenient to use with other luggage. This backpack is well made and durable. It weighs less than 2 pounds empty and measures in length 13”, in width 6”, and is about 17” high. This is appropriate for males and females alike because the color works for both. This would be a fantastic gift for the avid hiker or bicyclist or anyone who likes to travel light. I am familiar with the quality of SwissTech and would recommend this brand to everyone.

    Lots of pockets!
    Seems to be good build quality yet lightweight. The layout is definitely geared towards carrying a laptop as the rear compartment is pretty shallow & the overall pack width (almost 17" laying flat) supports that. Lots of pockets inside & on exterior which is great for organizing gear. I always like having small zipper pockets inside bags so I can keep keys or money safe! The chest strap is adjustable for height as well as width, it slides on two ribs on the shoulder straps. The main drawback for me, which knocks a star off the ratings, is the wide-ish width of the pack & shallow space. It's roughly 5" deep with no extension possibility. For extended walking its nearly 17" width is a little to wide for me to wear without my arms hitting it. I should note I'm only 5'1" so a larger person may not have this issue! Overall it's a pretty good pack but just not my #1 choice.

    I love this backpack!
    I absolutely love this back pack! I travel a lot and I use this as my carry on bag in airports, and I also use it to carry my computer, montor, accessories, files, etc. I love everything about it, the looks, the heavy duty zippers, the large number of pockets, it's really nice. First I want to talk about how it looks. I got a blue one and the material looks really cool. It's a really heavy duty material that has a woven look, almost like carbon fiber. Pictures really don't do it justice, you have to see it in person to appreciate it. It's got tons of little pockets and compartments, inside and out. You can seriously store so many things and keep everything organized, it's really great. It has tons of space to store a laptop, portable monitor, charger, you name it. It's also got really cool little closable compartments on each side.

    This backpack is top notch quality.2 have to carry a laptop to work any many different supplies like bp cuff gloves all sorts of medical equipment plus my lunch, I've found the nursing bags just done have proper room this backpack has excellent storage space with many different zippers and compartments, enough room for everything I need including my lunch. This bag is a lifesaver especially to my back it's comfortable and easy to put on my back and carry I finally and not wore out by the time I get in my work building this bag has enough room for all my stuff. Good quality material. W immediately threw out my other work bags and will stick to this one.

    perfect size for airline personal item
    This seems like a very well made bag, I actually have another Swisstech bag that's a few years old, it is used often and holding up great, so this is a second. I find it is the perfect size for the discount airlines personal size item. It is flexible and yes it fits in the cage where you pre-measure your item at the airport. The bag has plenty of space, with 2 extra large pockets in front, a huge inside main compartment with many smaller pockets for different items items, plus the laptop pocket that is padded on both sides and fits my 17" laptop a little tight, 15-16" fits best. There are smaller side pockets on each side that I find are good for items I need to quickly find like keys or identification. The zippers all run smoothly and are good quality. Its a good bag at this price that will last a good while.

    Awesome backpack
    I selected this Swiss Tech Urban Trek travel backpack because of its sturdy and incredible quality. The backpack is awesome with so many pouches and padded compartments in which to store all of your travel stuff in every nook and cranny. The shoulder straps are very well padded for comfort and it also contains a carry on handle to serve as an optional choice. It can lay flat or sit upright. Highly recommend this strong backpack for your next trip.

    Great Backpack
    This is a great backpack. I love the colors its comes in. The one I have is a dark teal blue with black trimming. The backpack opens to 18 inches and 22 inches. That will make it easy for me to carry my laptop computer or any other large tablet I might be carrying. The backpack has many pockets and opening that can be zippered close and each pouch or pocket of the bag is completely water proof. This backpack will be great in the summertime for everything I need portable and on the go. In the wintertime. It will make a great emergency needs pack. For hold first aid kits, Flashlights, Batteries, Snacks and radios, Scarfs, and gloves.

    Just barely good enough
    The name of this backpack sounds nice and would give you the impression that this backpack must be high quality. That is not the case after using this bag. The looks of the backpack are great, but the quality is subpar. The backpack sounds like a plastic bag while handling it. The noise is coming from the interior lining which I suppose is used to help the contents stay dry if exposed to water. The next problem I found with this backpack is the sternum strap. Every time I attempted to put on the backpack, the sternum straps would just fall right off the bag. Sometimes it was the right side strap and sometimes it was the left side strap. There was no end stop installed on the channels to stop the straps from sliding right off the top or bottom. This bag felt small to be advertised as an adult-size backpack. I would consider it to be small to medium size for an average adult male. One more thing that I noticed was that the bag is single-stitched. That means the seams can pull apart more easily over time. The zippers were of good quality, I think for the zipper pulls. I would have used a rubberized material. The metal makes the backpack feel heavy and off-balanced. There are no side compartments for a water bottle. The one plus to this backpack is that it has plenty of pockets.

    I really like it
    If your looking for a back pack with organization, this is a good one. The size is perfect for the budget airlines due to all the extra features on the inside. You have slip pockets, zippers, mesh pockets and padded compartments for electronics. It even has a slip pocket on the back of the pack to slip over your carry on luggage, for other airlines where you are allowed to carry two pieces per person, this would be a great addition. I can't speak to the durability as I have yet to use it long term. But, I've have used this brand for years and they hold up! If you want to carry less when you travel and your only traveling for a few days, this pack could work for you. It also makes a great every day pack. I really like it!!

    Paying for the name, the quality doesn't match
    I liked the many compartments! I dislike the sewing. The part that carries my tablet is ripped, the biggest compartment has a broken zipper, and one of the straps is shredding.
