Great for winterizing pool!
I have used this antifreeze for 2 years now in my pool lines and skimmer to prevent freeze damage during the winter months. The antifreeze has not let me down and has protected all my components each winter as temperatures got into the single digits... way below freezing. The price is unbeatable, especially if you compare it to crazy pool store prices! It is non-toxic and could be released into the pool if you wanted, I just pump mine out as I don't want anything extra in my pool. I take a picture of the ingredient list if you're interested, not sure about formulation changes, but it works perfectly for me. Again, great product and I fully trust it to keep my pool lines and skimmer from cracking in the freezing cold winter.

Freezes at 0 deg
It claims to not freeze until -50F at full strength, yes, full strength freezes at zero!!! BEWARE how you use it, as the bottles also expanded with the freeze. In the north, I only use full strength antifreeze, but shoot, find something else as this doesn't work and I'm dreading the damage this product may have created.

    Description online does NOT match product in store
    ONLINE item description indicates main ingredient is propolene glycol (the good stuff) but when I ordered and picked up, the label indicates this product contains denatured alcohol and propylene glycol; and since denatured alcohol is listed first that means there is MORE of it in this product. So BEWARE! Most people believe denatured alcohol is NOT GOOD for water lines, hoses, rubber washers, etc. in RVs and boats. We will NOT buy RV antifreeze here again.

    Works as advertised!! For those complaining that it freezes, it suppost to. It will not stay a perfect liquid. It will not burst unless below-50. read the label!! Been using for many years with no worries whatsoever. Read all the labels!!!

    Ingredients not as specified in description
    I was specifically looking for anti-freeze without Ethyl Alcohol, and the ingredients shown in the description above showed none. Unfortunately, the product I received has different ingredients than was advertised, including Ethyl Alcohol. I had to return it, and now I'll look for a retailer that takes more care in its advertising.

    Good product, Crappy shipping!
    I purchased 250 of these gallon jugs online. The product, it's self, is just fine for the price. The shipping on the other hand... Walmart sent all 250 jugs PARCEL SERVICE instead of freight. Neither I nor the FedEx driver were impressed. Plus, most of the original boxes had been damaged and the jugs were re-boxed into Walmart boxes. (I had to re-box several of the re-boxed jugs, myself, just so I could store them properly!) Many of which were leaking by the time they got to me. On top of that, 8 gallons never even arrived! They were kind enough to refund my money for those 8 gallons, however...

    ETHANOL BASED!
    Despite the labeling on the website indicating otherwise, this product contains ETHANOL which is known to damage rubber components such as pump seals. In addition, even after it's removed from your system the smell and taste will linger through many flushes of the system so beware of this

    No need to buy a brand name.
    Using RV/Marine antifreeze for anything with copper pipes is worth the effort because blowing them out with compressed air does NOT get all the water out. A close but not exactly level run of pipe can still hold water after it passes air. I have seen this happen and copper pipes will split if they freeze, then the plug of ice grows toward a to horizontal run will eventually I have found Super Tech products to be off unexpectedly high quality. This stuff is good to 50 degrees below zero (!) so you dont need much for your traps and it is not necessary to let the faucet flow until the flow is 100% pink. Just a little pink foam works fine. Ive used it for years. The only down side to RV antifreeze is mold finds it delicious, so toilet bowls and tanks look awful in the spring. Easy to clean off though.

    Never got any input or return money...
    This antifreeze was shipped in a box with no care. The gallon was only half full. Wouldn't buy this from walmart again....

    Frozen ANTIFREEZE!
    Just went out to my camper. And seen my spare bottle of RV antifreeze frozen solid. Supposed to be effective down to -50 degrees. Extremely unhappy about this antifreeze and possible Damage to my campers plumbing.
