Perfect Hose Reel
After reading other reviews I was hesitant about buying this hose reel because I thought it would leak where you connect the hose up to the reel. We did have this problem at first but grabbed a crescent wrench and tightened it up and now we have no issues with it. It looks very nice with the two-tone color. I would definitely recommend.

Do not buy!!
I was very excited to receive the hose reel, I am seeding my entire backyard and it is a pain to reel in a wet hose by hand twice a day. The first few days were better with this but when reeling the hose in it gets stuck on the sides so you still have to touch the hose to direct it to the middle of the reel, which defeats the purpose for me. Now I've had it for 8 days and the reel handle completely snapped off. This is a waste of money!!

    Buy at your own risk
We bought it for watering plants but found the connector broken in a morning within 6 months. They denied our warranty and blamed on us.

    Terrible Hose
I have had this for a year, over one Summer. I find the handle to be too low to the ground. When I try to drag it across the lawn, I have to hunch down when I pull it. Otherwise, it just flops to one side and that is how I drag it. The biggest complaint is the hose itself. I pulled it out and there are about 20 kinks in it. I could not fill my well without first taking pliers and working the kinks out. I tried rolling it back up; even laying the hose out in a flat straight line, but as I rolled it, I saw the kind just go back to the kinks they were when I started. I will look for a new hose and have my wife that is 4" shorter than my 5'-6" frame.

    Very Satisfied
We like that it is light weight and can be easily moved in and out of places, especially in the winter. Thank you that it arrived on time and in good condition.

    Filthy! Old product?
I thought I was buying a new product, but thing was covered in dirt and dust... Was is a retuned product after sitting in someone's yard? Was it sitting on a warehouse shelf collecting dust for years? Is it even a new product? I'll update when I hear something from customer support.

    Defective
I tried it with light duty and heavy duty hoses, it couldn't even roll once without kinking the houses. Also, unless you have sealant, this thing will leak on you.. period. Overall not very happy with this product :( website could've shown hoses that are compatible.. but NO, product description implies that this hose reel accepts universal garden hoses when it doesn't. Seems like steel hoses only work.

You get what you pay for. It's cheaply made.
This is a decent hose roller for the price. The fixtures are plastic so I don't expect much in longevity. Also, as I read on so many of the reviews, it's impossible to keep it from leaking where the hose attaches to the plastic connection pieces. I even used Teflon tape hoping it would minimize the leakage. But it's a cheaply made and my expectations were low. I'm careful to turn off the spigot after each use, but it definitely makes watering my container garden easier, given physical limitations from complications from my cancer treatment on my right arm/chest area.

    NOT HAPPY
I liked the idea of being able to roll the garden hose around from front to back. The appearance is nice and neat looking BUT NOT practical at all. My hose got mangled and tightly rolled onto the barrel and it took 30 minutes to untangle. I'm not sure how to avoid this problem. Its not worth the hassle at all. I'm considering returning it.

Lightweight, durable, best hose reel for the price
I've owned this exact same hose reel for the past 5 years and it finally started leaking from the pipe that runs inside of the transfer cylinder. Purchased the exact same reel from walmart.com and they delivered the same day, which was a surprise. The reel arrived and was missing a wheel. I called Walmart.com customer service and the woman on the phone was incredibly helpful, she would send me another hose reel the very next day. She also told me that I could keep the one that was missing the wheel - for no extra charge. I thought that was excellent customer service - as I ordered the hose reel from the website because it is very inconvenient for me to go to the store. The new hose reel arrived the very next day and it works great! It's lightweight, sturdy plastic, easy to hook-up, and can fold away for storage (if you do that sorta thing). I hope this one lasts another 5 years.

    Not bad, but not good.
It isn't horrible but definitely not made super well, will probably only last a couple years so don't pay more than 50 for it. Spend more and buy a better one unless you're selling your house and leaving it there. I'd buy another if you don't plan to use it much, the thing might just spin apart. lol Other than that, it looks nice and it works good for now but I don't give it a long life expectancy.
