I have had mine for over 2 years and so far it looks almost like new. I use it all day everyday except maybe in the middle of summer. I have started using it as I fall asleep. My husband turns it off even though I tell him it has an auto shut off. it fits po perfectly, I don't know how big you would have to be for it not to fit. I am an average weight and I have a little wiggle room. Getting ready to get a second one so I don't have to move mine back and forth. 2 neck surgeries and chronic muscle problems. a lifesaver.

Doesn't Last
I bought this heating pad twice and it was replaced by Sunbeam once. All three has the same issue. After using it the unit no longer works. No matter where you plug it in the ref light just blinks.

    Not pleased
    I bought this think it would be the answer to my problems. I have a little one that I'm still having to cradle so I only have one free hand. So holding the heating pad around my shoulder was hard. Well this seemed to be the answer. I was so wrong. The only part that even puts out the slightest heat is in the very center of the neck nothing out towards the shoulders. So if you need something for shoulder pain like me don't waist your money.

    Tension heating therapy pad
    I have purchased four of these heating pads in the last two years it seems they work good but the on and off switch wears out on them to quick and won't work after that . It seems like they get a short in the cord

    Amazing Relief
    I bought this a year ago for myself and then a month ago for my Mom. Two weeks ago I ordered two more for my daughters. This is an amazingly effective product. Works to alleviate neck, shoulder and back aches and pains. Highly recommend this product.

    The pad fits nicely around my shoulder/neck
    I like very much that it has a magnet that hold the heating pad in place. I just wish that when it was on high it was a little hotter. Overall I like it very much.

    Not large enough
    I bought the heating pad a month or so ago because my daughter had one and loves it. I have a lot of neck pain and shoulder tension, too. The pad arrived on time and is a beautiful color (green). However it is not as large as the specs say --- i measured it--- and the neck flap is very short. It is uncomfortable to use (for me). It would probably be good for a child, but not an adult. I did not return it because it hard for me to get to the post office. Iwill use it in spite of the discomfort. Maybe the brown ones are true to size.
