Exactly what I needed to keep my little boy in his playroom when I have to use the bathroom or grab something. I didnt think it was that hard to install. I didnt use the screws, because it didnt go on a stair case and it is plenty tight behind the doors.

When I received the gate and was excited about putting it up we cldnt even put it up bc the part to attach the lock was so far apart from the hook it was ridiculous! So now I have to return it and keep searching!

    Baby gate saved pigs life!
    I have a mini pig that would open the cupboard door and get into the garbage, and I mean ALL the time! I was going crazy trying to keep him out! I even had bungie cords on the cupboards! This gate saved his life and my sanity!

    Beautiful but…
    I got this gate for stairs, it is sturdy and the overall appearance looks good with my railings. But I find it hard to open with one hand, specially when using your left hand. It opens just one way so you can't customize to your preference. The opening where you pass is not very wide so you have to twist your body to go through. For my width I had to get extra spindle rods to complete the installation, the ones that came were too short and the extension too wide, so I had to pay extra $19.99 to get this gate going. But it feels very secure and it's a piece of mind to have this. I wouldn't repurchase or recommend.

    Not a great product
    Did not securely close. Our space was 32.5” and did not pull the poles close enough to be able to close entirely. Returned to store and a different gate was purchased.
