How is this considered HD
I can barely even make out what my daughter is doing in this baby monitor. They say12x more pixels.. if I had a dollar for every pixel in this monitor, I'd be out money. So overpriced as it has worse quality than a flip phone from the early 2000s.

    Amazing!
    This monitor is amazing, we had an old summer infant and replaced it with this. Picture quality is outstanding and the battery life I couldn't believe, we didn't plug it in all night to see how long it would last...all night. 7pm to 7am not plugged in and only went done 30-40%. Highly recommend.

    Huge screen, awesome zoom, and many other feature
    This monitor is amazing! We have an almost 3 year and a 14 month old so we've used monitor for awhile and this one is simply the best!! We put it in our older daughters room because she gets into everything and can open her door. We placed the base on her dresser and it rotates from one side of her room all the way to the other- it's just amazing because other monitors only rotate a little bit and it takes forever- but not this one. Another great feature is the zoom. Sometimes she has night terrors/talks in her sleep/ etc. and it's really nice to just zoom in on her rather than chance waking her up by going in. It zooms up close enough for us to see her without getting blurry which is huge!! I also like that you can rotate the camera while in the zoom mode! An unexpected feature that we weren't even looking for, is the sound/white noise button. While she doesn't sleep with a sound machine anymore , sometimes the neighbors can be loud whether mowing the lawn or talking, so I can simply hit the white noise button on the monitor and it plays on the base!!! Once again, I don't have to worry about waking her up by going in her room. The range of this monitor is also amazing. It says it has a range of up to 800ft and while I haven't used it that far, I have used it while I went out in the backyard and it was still clear as if I was in the house. With summer coming up, it will be nice to sit outside while the kids sleep and not worry about the monitor going in and out. This monitor has given us peace of mind and saved us countless trips up the stairs! It does everything. We will be purchasing another camera for our other daughters room!!     Awesome set up with 4 cameras! Crystal clear!
    Extremely clear viewing on such a large handheld screen We purchased 4 cameras total, the Baby Pixel Zoom HD cameras. We are very very happy with our purchase! We have 4 cameras set up in 4 different rooms. We have 4 kids. I love that the handheld monitor will cycle through the different cameras every 15 seconds, all night. This allows us to keep a watch on the kids bedrooms and hear if any of them need help or attention.

    Best Monitor!
    I just received this monitor about a week ago and I'm in love with it!! I never leave reviews on anything, but for this I absolutely had to! We had been using a Summer Infant monitor before this one that was given to us 2.5 years ago. We were wanting to upgrade since the picture quality on ours wasn't the greatest and we wanted more features. So we decided to stick with Summer Infant and read nothing but good reviews on this one. I love the BIG monitor! It has so many features like 2 way talk back, 6X zoom, & the image is crystal clear!!! The camera also moves too! Don't hesitate. BUY this monitor!!

    Absolutely a Must!
    After receiving this product I would have to say that I absolutely would recommend and would buy for monitoring my baby. I loved all the high quality features that it offers such as the zoom in feature to see my baby up close when needed, the ability to control the camera with a remote when I'm in another room, and the ability to play lullabys for my baby while she's napping. The night vision is incredible and very clear unlike ALOT of other monitors you buy. I loved how clear and precise the camera is. You can actually see even the smallest of details and movements. This camera has so many features that we as moms want and need to help us feel at ease with putting our babies to sleep and know they will be okay. The alert feature that tells you when baby has moved out of the sleep zone is amazing. It has a temperature display. It also has the two way talk back feature to where I can sooth my baby girl when she's crying by letting her know I'm near and it also has a wake up feature to let you know when baby wakes. The only CONS about the system that I don't like is the fact that it doesnt have a record option for when I'm away and someone else is watching my baby. I wanna be able to record and know what went on at all times. Also, it is a little pricey for my liking. However, with all these amazing features it's definitely worth it. One last thing that could be better is the day time mode. If you have a darker room during the day the monitor will stay in night time mode. Myself, I like a colored display during the day. I guess I could get lighter curtains so it wouldn't stay in night mode to fix the problem but it would be nice to just be able to switch it if you wanted.     Great quality picture, best monitor we have used!
    We have a brand new baby and we wanted a monitor that we would be able to really see what was going on if we aren't in the room. We received one other unit that we had requested(on a friend's recommendation) on our registry, but it couldn't hold a candle to the Summer Infant Pixel. With this product we are able to see subtle movements (i.e. breathing) which helps calm our first-time-parent anxiety. The screen is huge, making viewing very easy. The image is crisp, it truly appears to be High Definition(especially when compared to other monitors we've seen.) We currently have the camera mounted pretty high up(conveniently a hole was already drilled in the window frame) probably almost 7' from the baby, and the picture is still really clear despite being on max zoom. The buttons and controls on the unit are well thought out and easy to use. I never read the instructions, so I did accidentally turn on the Moonlite feature when I was messing with it, which was a bit jarring for my partner in the middle of the night(baby is in a co-sleeper in our room), but now that I know what it is I have used it when we aren't in the room to get a color view, even though the black and white night vision is excellent. Feature breakdown pros and cons: The sleepzone- we are really psyched to use the virtual boundary when the baby gets bigger and starts climbing out of bed. Both of our nieces are escape artists, and their moms are super jealous of this feature. Also looking forward to using the talk back feature when she is older. The pan and tilt- it literally makes no noise, which is nice for not disturbing the baby, and allows a large range of viewing. Voice activation, it's pretty sensitive, and turns on whenever the baby fusses. We mostly leave the unit plugged in so the screen stays on all the time(nervous first time parents!), but when we are cleaning and moving around this is great. Battery time- it lasts a long time without plugging in, we have not had any issues. Range- our house is 1400 square feet, with thick walls, picture comes in perfectly, even if we take it outside. Mounting brackets- it comes with a bunch of extras, which is really nice for the future, when we move the baby to her room and possibly move to a new home. The white noise and lullabies are nice and sound good, but make it difficult to hear the baby. Not a big deal as we use a separate noise machine anyway, and possibly useful to calm the baby when she is older. Screen brightness- Even on the lowest setting it is still pretty bright, it would be nice if it went down a few more levels. But it's dimmer than a cell phone set at 50% brightness. The temperature display doesn't seem to be totally accurate, it seems to be showing a temp that is about 4 degrees above the ambient temp in the room. This may be because heat rises and we have it mounted about 7 feet up, so take that with a grain of salt. At the end of the day we would recommend this monitor to everyone. The picture quality is outrageous for a baby monitor, the controls are well thought out, and the product is well designed and stylish to boot. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Very clear picture!
    I am a big fan of Summer Infant monitors and was blown away by this monitor. The image was so clear and remains clear when you zoom in. You can move the camera using the base that is extremely useful. My son also sleep with white noise on that can ocassionally become loud through our prior monitor but with the Baby Pixel Zoom this has not been an issue at all.
