Great Gift Idea for any gamer.
It is a gift card what is there not to like? I use my Walmart gift card (which was a gift from a family member) to buy one of these once a month with whatever money I still have left on that card. Just a little gift at the end of the month for me. :)

Activation issues
Never will I order these offline ever again! They were never activated when I received them and have had to go through 3 days of customer support to resolve the issue. You're better off going into the store and having them activated there.

If by rare chance your card isn't activated, call.
You have four options. Report issue with order online at walmart.com Send email about it. Go to local Walmart store, bring your order page and stuff. Call Walmart. What happens when Walmart sell customers one of these cards is they register the two serials the cards have to the order. That way they know exactly which card went to which customer and so on. This also prevents them from activating cards that weren't legitimately purchased. The first serial is the activation serial, it's essentially the same as the activation barcode. The second serial is the card production serial. It's identity amongst all the cards. If you have issue with your order about activation, Walmart can definitely make it right. Pretty much, on Walmart's end. They just got to make sure that the serial they are activating is indeed a serial that have been purchased by someone already. In which case, you just got to show them your order number. (as the serials are tied to that order number). Have fun gaming !

    Walmart fail
I had a physically shipped card sent to me for a secret Santa gift. the gift was a success until he could not activate the card. He went through Steam and was told it could not be activated because Walmart did not do its part. When researching how to return or activate the card, was noted all sales final and nothing could be done. Period. Walmart got $20 for NOTHING. Very Unhappy!

    Not activated
I received two gift cards for $20 each they're not activated so when we went to put them in my sons account, they are invalid. I'm definitely not happy right now. Total letdown for Christmas.

    Invalid/Inactive Card
Received this card and gave it as a gift. my nephew attempted to use it and it says it is invalid. So they sent me an inactive card and took my money for it.

it got here a day early and even earlier in the day than originally said by the site . it took 2 days instead of 3 , in spite of coming from a few states away . couldn't be happier . although the number on the back of the cards all you need . idk why that info wasnt passed though by email but its here and it worked thanks>

    Gaming on pause
I will rate this a bit lower because they lost my card when I picked it up and waited forever for a replacement at the store. But the card worked after but the pick up put a bad taste in my mouth.

I purchased two of the $20 Steam gift cards for my friend because it was his birthday and that's all he talks about is that he loves to use these gift cards. And then after I gave them to him and he tried to rub off the silver covering that hides the numbers of the gift cards he did it just like it said to do but BOTH cards were damaged because they took some of the numbers off when he rubbed them off and he wasn't very happy about it especially since it was his birthday and I felt really bad for giving him the Steam gift cards that don't have a plastic card with the cardboard card and they were obviously damaged or there was something else in the manufacturing process that made them defective. I'm not sure how I'm going to get my money back for them but I do have the receipt and the actual cards so I hope that Walmart will take them back. I even had the silver stuff and taped it to the back of the cards so that they can see what went wrong. If Walmart is good about refunding my money for them or even says that they will exchange the cards I will probably try to up a star rating or two.
