Used to be better.
My husband and I both agree that these are not as good as when we were kids. They didn't used to be as crisp/crunchy, and they are way more salty. We won't be purchasing these again.

    Gradual price increases everywhere
    Taste is very subjective, but I really enjoy them. If you're not too fond of goldfish, you might really like these! My issue is more so with the price—Walmart keeps slowly increasing the price on these! Within the past month and a half, it's gone from $2.54 to 2.73 to now $3.24. This isn't the only item I've seen experiencing these “subtle” price hikes and at this rate, it's becoming cheaper to just buy the name brand or to shop elsewhere all together.

    Great Tasting
    I like the Whale Crackers so much better than the Goldfish brand and so does my granddaughter. Although we prefer the individual bags, obviously so does everyone else because most of the time lately Walmart has been out.

    Some of my favorite snacks
    My favorite cheesy crackers with quite a bit of salt and a pepper kick, which I find rather addicting at times, but dole them out so I don't overeat. Really, it's hard to overeat these too much because of the sodium, which is partly what I like. A half a cup is satisfying and not too expensive in the calorie/fat department. Enjoy with plenty of water. :)

    My kids LOVE these whale crackers, they choose these ones, over gold fish, or cheese it's, they love the flavoring, I tryed them also and they are actually really good, perfect crunch

    Won't buy them again
    disappointed in flavor. Not very cheese flavored. Very bland actually. I am not a smoker and I mention this as it is important I prefer the original fishes because the flavor is better. I only tried these because they were new to me.

    Affordable and Tasty
    Having kids, it's easy to get burned out on the same old flavor of similar well-known snacks. Every classroom you go into, every event you attend, little gold-colored swimmy snacks... Whales are a nice change of pace.

    Yes, these are really good and value size is incredible for the price! I had to purchase two boxes for work since I literately ate almost an entire box a coworker had left on the desk lol.
