My doctor recommended that I add a Vitamin D supplement to my diet as a positive mood enhancer. This product from Spring Valley is good quality and affordable. The tablets are small gel capsules and easy to swallow. I have noticed a difference after taking this product for several months. I often take more than what's recommended on the bottle, but I am doing so under doctor's orders. I suggest always consulting your doctor before beginning or changing a vitamin regimen.

    Good vitamin to take daily
    My doctor recommended vitamin D after reviewing my laboratory tests; explaining that my vitamin D levels were low. I work indoors so I don't get much vitamin D from the sun. I have used this product for several years. I like the size of the soft gels because they are easy to swallow.

    Walmart is THE vitamin source for keen shoppers!
    I always compare other available vitamins from other sources before I make my choice from Walmart and I STILL can't find anywhere else that will beat Walmart in its fantastic prices on vitamins. With the W program, it makes the order even MORE inexpensive when one considers the discounts Walmart gives its W customers as well as my not having to hop in the car, drive to the store, get the vitamins, and return. Thank you Walmart for such a great program and I have used it numerous times AND thank you for being just YOU - a Great Store with fantastic items at FANTASTIC PRICES!

    Good product, HORRIBLE price increase!
    This is a good product. I have been taking this daily for years due to health concerns, and have been especially vigilant including them in my daily routine since COVID-19 has kept us in lockdown, so less natural Vitamin D intake. The only problem that I have with the product at this point is that Walmart and/or the manufacturer has used COVID-19 as an excuse to bump the price up by a whopping 75 PERCENT! The last time I purchased this I got a twin pack, bottles of 5,000 IU, 250 soft gels each, for $9. That is a cost of 1.3 cents per soft gel. I just reordered them. Sadly, this time the best price I could find was $7.88 for ONE bottle of Spring Valley, 5,000 IU, 250 count soft gels. That comes to an increase to 3.1 cents each, A PRICE INCREASE OF 75 PERCENT for the same exact bottle count and dose size. Yikes! While I am sure that COVID-19 has caused the cost of manufacturing to go up somewhat on everything over the past year and a half, I cannot believe there is any justification for so high an increase in price. This is yet another plain Overkill and slap in the face for us little guys. (I took off one star for the excessive price increase, otherwise, I would have awarded 5 stars.)

    Every since i was told by my doctor that i hardly had any vitamin d in my body i've been taking this brand and when my next checkup came around my vitamin d was normal again. Great stuff.

    Love my Vitamin D!
    As being diagnosed with a Vitamin D deficiency years ago, Drs. prescribed Vitamin D ongoing and continual for my life. Vitamin D is much more important for bodies than some may know. I am so Thankful for this knowledge. I take my Vitamin D daily for Energy and Life.

    Best there is, price reasonable too
    Doctor was very pleased and surprised of the excellent results these gave me. Vitamin D3 was recommended by orthopedic doctor to help strengthen bones taken with calcium(I use same brand). I also take 325 mg iron of the same brand and results are excellent!!!
