Great hoop once put together
The hoop is great once put together but in my case the putting together part was not very straightforward. The base post is two pieces that are supposed to fit together by slipping the lower post into the upper post and then bolting them together. The posts did not fit together. The lower was too big and would not even start to slip into the upper. I ended up using a sledgehammer to bend in the sides of the lower post near the end and then bent in the corners so that it would be small enough to start inside the upper post. I stood the two posts on top of each other and hammered on the bottom post with a sledgehammer to force them together. After about an hour I was able to get the two posts to force together enough to bolt them. The braces which support the post to the base also needed some adjusting to fit together. I had to use a metal drill bit to widen one of the mounting points. Everything else went together fine but would have been easier with a third person for a few steps.

    Could not assemble post
    Ordered the hoop, could not assemble because we couldn't combine the two posts (a common problem, it seems). We tried sanding and lubricating the components, slamming it into the ground, but that accomplished nothing. Wasted an entire day on this.
