My 5 year old love it my husband fit it up to the height he can manage and the good thing about it will grow with him so as he get older it can adjust good buy.take about 1 hr for my hubby to put it together

    Pieces don't match assembly is incomplete
    The 2 struts won't flush onto the large middle pole, Im hoping they can replace these two pieces because I doubt if we can disattach the pole now.

    Cheaply made
    This breaks easily. I weighed it down with sand but after a large wind storm it blew over when I was at work. It was the first time it fell and the backboard shattered. I contacted Spalding but weeks later, still no response. It's within the manufacture's warranty but outside the Walmart return period. Also, I paid $88 but this has been as low at $55. Maybe at $55 it would be worth it but I'm not going to rebuy.

    Rim smaller than standard size on this model
    I returned this goal to the store the day after it arrived after reading on the box that the rim is actually 14 inch instead of the standard 18 inch. There is another goal by the same company that appears to be exactly the same except that the rim is standard size (18 inch) and the backboard is colored slightly differently. If you don't to have to use the mini-balls with the goal, then I think you might need to get the other Spalding 32 inch youth composite goal rather than this one. Just FYI.

    Look, it's for my ALMOST 3 yr old and HE LOVES IT! We've all enjoyed, being locked up at this time, in the garage, and using the smaller basketballs, shooting at this. I turned the base around opposite of 'normal' position and haven't even filled it yet and I'm happy! He's happy! 4 out 6 have used it and found it to be entertaining. At this time in our lives, what else can we do, inside for activity? Family FUN! EXERCISE! BTW I can personally attest that dunking a 2 year old through this rim is possible and he's even made a few hoops off my 6 ft. ladder, with his monster trucks, NO PROBLEM. Dad of 4 approved!

    Good hoop. My son loves it
    So far so good! I'm not a pro at assembling anything but the instructions were good and I was able to get it up by myself. It is not super y'all. But perfect height for my taller than average 5-year old. We have it set on the 3rd set of holes and it is perfect for now. Moving up and down is a bit of a challenge. Would be nice if it was easier. The only reason it gets 4 stars.
