Great dresser! It was a lot of pieces and looked intimidating but if you follow the instructions you would be ok. Dresser is not light and cheap! It's heavy and made well!

Came damaged
When we were assembling the dresser, the top piece came with two dents. Only thing that can be done is to disassemble the dresser and return it and then reorder.

    It takes patience
    First off, this is heavy. The box is heavy. The pieces are heavy. Its heavy. I opened it in the garage and brought it in piece by piece. After stacking and taking inventory, I saw I was shorted 2 pieces, the inside stabilizer boards. I called customer service at South Shore and she put my order in (on a Saturday!) and emailed the confirmation right away. it was quick and painless. There were bumps and chips even though it was packaged great with lots of cushiony foam. Once I started putting drawers in, I realized the drawers do go on specific sides for those saying they aren't lining up correctly. I didnt have any issues with screw holes lining up or splitting. I followed the directions to a T. The directions have true to size pictures at the beginning to help with what the hardware pieces are (I had to lay some of the pieces on the picture to see what they were). I wish they were labeled but it's pretty easy to figure what's what. the picture attached isn't totally put together but I'm horrible at leaving reviews and wanted to get it on here.

    Pretty nice but difficult to assemble
    So over all when you finish building this dresser it is pretty nice, and it fits a lot of clothes. It took us 5 hours to build, we expected it to take 2 so definitely time consuming and frustrating to build. We made a mistake with the drawers, you have to make sure the inside is aligned properly or the drawers won't fit and will look uneven. We had a lot of trouble with that and I almost returned the item. Thankfully we figured it out and the dresser is pretty nice and strong looking.

    Expected to ware fast. Imperfections with paint
    Shipping was faster than expected. Beautiful sturdy dresser, except all the imperfections. After put together noticed bubbling in the paint/wood. Big scratches and dents all over the top and drawers.

    Decent enough
    The drawer fronts are a little dingy looking (not the bright white I expected) and two of them were peeling a very tiny amount on the corner. The top came with a bit of damage on it, but not enough to deal with attempting a return. The drawers are a good size and open far enough to be able to wait get clothes in and out. The dresser is a good weight and sturdy enough, but I wouldn't put anything too heavy on top.

    Good sturdy dresser
    Love the dresser. It's very heavy and sturdy. Drawers are nice and deep. Went together easily however the drawers didn't line up at first. We easily remedied the issue be trying different drawers in multiple locations and found a sequence that worked. There was a slight moment of panic when they didn't line up but it turned out fine and lm not a huge fan of the chrome looking knobs. We will probably replace with a brushed nickel knob. Overall I'm happy with the dresser.

    Looks nice, but low quality
    The dresser needs LOTs of work to put together, the instructions are fine, but just too many steps and pieces to put together. The sides and paints came chipped at many places, so the front of the drawers have some rough wood edges displayed. The drawer size (mainly width) and slides aren't designed to fit perfectly, left a big gap in the middle of he double dresser, not fit as shown in the pictures.

    Pretty dresser
    We really like this dresser. The reason I rated a 4 was that the instructions were a little unclear, if you put the drawer rollers on the wrong side the drawers done work properly. Also the delivery company wouldn't deliver to our door because it was to heavy, so if you can't go pick it up you might want to think twice.
