Flat out does the job!
Used it twice within a week. This is 2cnd review. Even with wet heavy snow, it throws high & far. You just need to go a little slower, or push in, back it out, & push it in again. If the snow is higher than the thrower opening, use a shovel to knock it down, then go in with the Snow Joe.

Piece of garbage, wouldn't start after 1st use.
Do NOT buy this piece of garbage, the directional chute cap uses carriage bolts with no way to tighten them, so when you hit the snow, the upward pressure pops off the snow funnel and shoots snow straight up in the air, with a bit slogging out the end of the chute vomiting snow all over the machine. Every 4 steps the thing would pop apart and snow would shoot all over. I tried taking it off and retightening the bolts (have to do it by fingers as there is no slot for a screw driver), but it still only lasted a few steps.
The 2nd time I used it (today) I made it a few feet, the chute popped over, snow everywhere, etc., I tried to fasten it but there was no way to do it without drilling it for a permanent angle. I tied a plastic bag over the area where the snow shoots straight up in the air, went to turn it on and NOTHING. It now will not start. Checked cords, checked to see if it was blocked with snow, nope, it's just a cheap, worthless piece of crap likely made to last a few times til the return window is over. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/08/2023Plastic handle barsHandle bars broke on 4th use, the handle bars are not a solid metal and the plastic holding it together snapped. Definitely only meant for light duty. It blew snow really well too, it's a shame they cheaped out on the handle bars. The corded aspect could get cumbersome after a bit, but definitely manageable. Since it was connected to electric all the time I felt like I rarely had issues with power vs if it was battery powered.Steven

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/24/2022Not well made- poor handle design; falls apart. Not good for anything more than a skiff of snow. Used about 30 minutes on 3-4 inches of CO snow. Took a lot of pushing to get it to go. Did an okay job picking up 1/2 of the snow. Plastic piece holding the left handle together kept coming loose then plastic piece on the right handle totally broke. Handle is in 2 pieces, flopping around, won't go back together so is useless.stacie

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/17/2022Good snow blower at a great price.Great snow blower at a very good price. I had heard numerous reviews against electric snow throwers, but can honestly say that as long as you stay ahead of the snow, this will get through several inches of snow with now problem. I used it in North Dakota on my 24' x 50' residential driveway without problems. I got through drifts 10” deep without issue, and was able to clear snow piles over 3' high when blowing the snow. No gas to keep, no oil changes. Pretty much plug it in and turn it on. Light weight makes it easy enough my kids can help. Pros: smaller, light weight, no gas to store can handle large amounts of powder snow. Cons: not powerful enough to handle big jobs, must be close to electrical source. Has trouble with larger amounts of wet snow.Yesitisme

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/18/2021Great Snow BlowerBought this last year for my husband for Christmas. We have a giant driveway with a 6 foot wall on one side and it took FOREVER to scoop by hand. He has a bad back and has injured himself several times scooping by hand. This was a GREAT purchase. It worked well and saved time and injury!Abbie

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/06/2021It was good, but defeated by a piece of iceI bought this the beginning of December 2020. Worked great the 5 times I used it. On the 6th time (Februrary 2021), I ran into a piece of ice under the snow. Cracked the scraper horizontally. I wasn't going hard or fast, but still cracked it good (-30c temperature at the time for reference)Will H

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/14/2021I'm pleasantly surprisedWe just got our first snow fall since we got it. It's thick and heavy and I'll be damned if it didn't just power through. As long as we didn't take in a huge amount worked great. My only complaint is the the shoot does not stay in place with the up and down motion no matter how tight I had it..My name is nobody
