Looks sturdy and very interesting for this type of learning toy. They are for Christmas gifts for grandson's - ages 9 and 10. Looks like hours of creative fun!

easy circuitry
I am thrilled that everything's snap on connect. It's so easy to put away when needed. But for a toy, I think it's pricey for something not as engaging on its own. My son loves the lights and the flying disc, but he gets bored as soon since he only follows the illustrations as easily. It does not offer actual understanding of the components. I had to teach him separately for that. After a while when he finally got the purpose of each one, he appreciates the circuit designs and enjoys experimenting on new connections.

    Educational and fun.
    This is a great gift for 9 year old plus. It has easy to read instructions and is easy to assemble. The child can learn about electronic circuitry as well as terminology. Probably not so good for younger than 9 years old. We bought it as a birthday gift and when it was opened all the other gifts were put aside while it was assembled.

    This was what my 10 yr. old grandson wanted for his birthday so I bought it for him. He immediately started building the circuits and loved that he created a light show for music. I will definitely buy more Snap Circuits.

    My grandson loves this
    My grandson is only seven, but he is able to do all the circuits. He finds it fascinating. What an excellent "toy". He is getting dog robot for Christmas. Please put them ALL in stores.
