Cute design easy to use
This potty is very easy to use and easy to clean the pieces are very easy to wash. My daughter loves the Elmo and the flushing sound and likes how she can use as a stool only downside I feel the top lid slams too fast and I am scared she might get her finger smashed if we are not careful

Girls not for boys
I was happy to get this Sesame Street Potty for free to review and test. I'm currently potty training my son, but with 4 girls and a boy it's a better fit for girls .. it was not big enough to fit my son's parts completely.. he would get pee half in and half out the potty .. also without a sensor he seems like he sits there for a while or I have to keep checking to see if he did something

There are a few small details that we didn't like as well as other brands for our family though. Our children are very tall for their age and this toilet sits lower to the ground than others. The hole where the sit is also significantly smaller than other comparable toilets, which posed a little trouble when learning to aim with our son. Also, the splash guard on the front is a flexible silicone and I felt it was kind of pointless. I prefer a hard plastic that is removable. One additional consideration, is the base is larger than others we have used as well, as which could pose a problem in a small space. We did really like that the toilet has multiple functions, including a built in step stool option, and my son loved that it was Elmo themed. Overall I would recommend this for any Elmo loving kiddo!Samantha

We had another potty and my little one wanted nothing to do with it. Our hope was that since this potty incorporated one of his favorite characters that he would be more inclined to try it. Well it worked! He was so excited when he saw the Elmo potty! The potty includes a pretend-flush handle with fun sounds and Elmo's voice which definitely intrigued him! It has been a few weeks and my little one is now doing great with the potty process! The potty chair is the perfect size; it takes up minimal space in our bathroom. It is lightweight so it can be easily carried from one bathroom to the next or taken with you if you are visiting family/friends. There are handles on the side of the potty that he can hold onto that help him feel secure on the seat. The seat is soft and padded. The waste cup removes easily for cleanup. This 3 in 1 potty is also great as it grows with my little one. Once he is finished with the potty chair, the seat from the chair can be removed and placed on a regular toilet. You can also close the lid to the potty chair and it becomes a step stool which my little one loves. After using the potty he closes the lid and stands on the stool to wash his hands. There are so many great things about this potty! If you have little ones that are starting the potty training process, I definitely recommend this Elmo potty by Kolcraft. It is a must have!Crystal19

He is very excited to use the potty everyday and be able to flush then close the lid himself. The flush sounds are awesome! It's made sturdy and clean ups are easy. It’s small, lightweight so it’s easy to store in anywhere without taking up too much space. There is a pretend flush handle that you can press and it makes the flushing sound so it’s helps my son get used to the sound of a flushing toilet. Once he’s used to the potty , I can detach the top piece and set it on the toilet. He can also use the potty as a stepping stool. Also you can press the flush handle to hear hear Elmo giggle.Maddy528

I like how it is designed to where when the child gets up it can't stick to them and spill out. And they are less likely to try to get then pan out and dump it themselves since you have to lift up a piece to get out the pot . I like that it shuts like a real toilet as well! Looks better sitting in the bathroom and it teaches them to close the toilet.Kk

The little handle does three sounds: a simulated toilet flush (potty does not actually flush), Elmo laughing and saying "hooray," Elmo laughing and saying "you did it." We decided to try an earlier training with our third daughter and this potty has been the best fit. With our older daughters we tried standard potties and it took us much longer. This time, the training is seemingly moving quicker (too soon to tell yet, but if she get fully trained before her second birthday that would mean a much faster training lol). The potty has become and instant hit. It is convenient, fun, comes with several toiled related encouraging sounds, and overall very well build & sturdy. The potty has a lid that serves as a backseat when up and doubles as a step stool when down. The latter is extra convenient, as our daughter can easily step on it to wash her hands etc. The bowl is easy to remove and clean. Again we anticipate quick training period but the potty will have served us well even if it takes us a while. Excellent, fun product for kids!Cardar

Elmo is his favorite characters so I thought he would take to this because of Elmo. He loves the flushing part and listening to Elmo sing. He had no problem sitting on it right away. When his nap was over and I was going to put another diaper on him ge pointed to the chair and went over and sat on it. I know it will only be a matter of time before he figures out the real purpose of it. I love that it has the multiple uses. The potty chair, toilet seat removes so you can put it on your toilet and then it becomes a step stool. Please with it.Sandy
