Great little device for all your stuff.
Great little backup device, have one on all of our laptops and PCs. Been using Seagate for years with no problems including a 10TB for home networking.

Failed after 4 months
Failed after 4 months, It does have a warranty so after you go though all the trouble shooting steps you can start a return online and you can return to Seagate at no charge to you, however I had sensitive data on drive and don't think that I'm comfortable sending it in, so I will probably just eat the cost of a new drive and just destroy my old one to keep my data safe.

    Makes my jobs easier!
    I am a designer who owns my own business, so I have a ton of files on my computer. When they were all on my computer, it was so slow it was painful. Now, they are all on this drive, and my computer is like new again. Another bonus is I can design at home and just safely remove the drive and put it into the shop computers, whichever one I need to use. I highly recommend this drive!

    It was readily available as soon as we plugged it into our Xbox One, but if it gets the slightest bump or movement it can become disconnected. If thought it's actually plugged in still it doesnt read its there

    It was working good then all of a sudden it stop
    Stopped working after a few months of using. I used it on my ps4 for an external hard drive. After a few months it no longer read the fine. The light turns on but it didn't read on my ps4 or computer.

    Useful out of the way portable storage
    Hand size portable storage, currently using it for xbox one storage space havent even made a dent in gb definately going to be long term use item. Doesnt overheat, and can be converted for playstation memory as well as computer.

    Cheap and effective
    I have a bunch of these because they work so well for my backups. They are fast enough that the backups get done quickly, they are small enough to fit on my desk, and they are easy to transport. Just as important, they are inexpensive.

    WORKS FOR NEXT GEN CONSOLE
    I bought the 2tb for my next gen console (Xbox) which only holed 450 gb but when I added it jump up to 2tb it's really easy to set up when you first connect it it will ask for media use or games use make sure you press the game one if your using it for more consoles space

    useful yet slow as molasses in January.
    Unfortunately, the only good thing i have to say is that it was very quiet and it was a pretty black color. I dont know about saving you game endings or whatever it is yall do with these drives. I mainly use my drives for transferring and holding data and files temporarily, anyway, this drive was agonizingly slow, oh my lord. they make it a point to emphasize in bold that it is a usb3 at that you should be getting 60-80 mbps realistically. I tried this thing on 3 different computers and the most I got on a very good day with nothing running in the back was around a max of 22mbps and a frustrating average about 17.... reminding me alot like the old 2.0 usb.
