Don't buy this drive.
Had problems with the drive after only having it for a few weeks. It began to give me access denied messages on each computer that tried to use it on. It eventually caused my computers to start shutting down uncontrollably when I connected it to them. I went online to look for solutions, but none of them worked.

    worst hard drive I have ever bought.
    iv only had their for about 2-3 weeks and it has already messed up. out of no where it started beeping and now wont download or transfer any of my games.

    not 4tb, 3.6
    showing 3.6 tb drive. that's to many gigs missing... I got this for my xbox series s. so far so good except its not 4tb..3.6is not what I expected.

    This 4 Tb expansion drive is great for Gamers too.
    I wanted a Hard Drive that I could install games to and run them off of. I did not know if it would work as the only descriptions were regarding extra storage uses. I took the risk and bought one on sale. I was pleasantly surprised to find it "gamed" perfectly. When the game installation software asked for the location to install to, it would suggest a location (usually on drive C:). But most install programs allow you to change to a different location. I had made a file folder on the expansion drive, and designated it as the install location. I installed 36 games totaling 299 Gb, barely making a dent in my 4 Tb expansion drive, and they all ran perfectly off the expansion drive. I don't know why the manufacturers don't use this as a selling point in the description of their drives, but it would attract a lot of people like me who had issues with their Hard Drive (drive C:) running out of room. An expansion drive is a lot less expensive than buying a new PC with a larger drive. Especially when we are very satisfied with our current PC, but just need more hard drive space for our games.

    SEAGATE a great product and this was a GREAT PRICE
    I LOVE SEAGATE. I looked at other External Memory and this was an excellent price or 4TB. Altough price does not matter when storing your files. I have been using Seagate for many years and have had no complaints and it is very user friendly to backup my files. I don't have a teenager at home, so I have to figure this tech stuff out by myself. Very easy. Plug it in and go....

    Literally just like the Xbox One special Seagate drive but cheaper nice it doesn't have all the Xbox logo's. Make sure your Xbox is turned off before connecting it.

    Excellent place to store all the files, pictures, videos and whatever Is on your computer that you want backed up. So easy to use! I feel more comfortable knowing that if my computer gets destroyed I won't lose precious memories.

    Would Highly Recommend This Product.
    OMG I was really surprised by this product, not only do you not need and electrical outlet for it, it is small and doesn't take up a lot of room. It is powered by a USB port on your computer so when your computer shuts down so does this external. I have another Seagate and it is still running after 10 years. The only reason I got another one is I ran out of space.

    Best Bang for Your Buck
    I'm always a bit nervous about buying electronics on here from sellers other than Walmart itself, but this drive is everything I could have asked for. It works great as external storage for the Xbox one and transfers games over faster than any hard drive I've had attached before. I'm beyond pleased with this purchase, especially for the price. 11/10 would highly recommend
