If I could give this no stars I would.
I had sea monkeys when I was little and they were the coolest. I Bought this for my 8 year old so I could teach them how to care for a pet and just show them how cool sea monkeys are. we were very disappointed when none of the eggs hatched :(

    Fun and nostalgic
    Sea monkeys are a classic novelty that most people remember having at some point growing up, myself included. I hatched mine a couple days ago after closely following the instructions and everything appears to be going well so far. You need to use distilled water (not tap water) and WAIT 24-36 hours after you put in the water purifier before putting in the egg packet. Many people don't do this, and they throw everything into the tank at once and wonder why their sea monkeys die a couple days later (I am pretty sure I did this too when I was a kid). These are basically brine shrimp and they are extremely tiny when they hatch. You need a bright flashlight or the light on your phone to see them when they are newly hatched. I am looking forward to seeing mine grow! You will succeed in hatching them if you follow the directions. Very fun item that brings back a lot of fond memories.
