Many questions but no answer so far.
1. The monitor has speakers and settings for speakers but I can not get any audio from the monitor. 2. The box came closed with tape as refurbished item. I am not sure why it was opened before. 3. It came with VGA cable but no HDMI cable. Not sure it should be included or not. I called Walmart customer but they were clueless to answer any questions above and suggested me contact Sceptre. I just sent to Sceptre customer service email and waiting for reply. Due to above I gave only one star for the product.

    Cheapy Good for Surfing Net
    Great value, with solid performance and overall look. Its hdmi ready, with 5ms response and 75mhz engine. So, good for internet use and light gaming. This brand is mass produced so there are some things to look out for... on my screen there is a lone lcd that stands out when screen is black, but not noticeable when gaming. This screen performs like a monitor around $200 for the size. It is light and fairly thin so easy to move from desk to desk.

    One minor issue, rarely affects me, A+ otherwise.
    You get what you pay for. Works fine in almost all aspects for me. There's some mysterious graphic flickering when I scroll web pages, but no other discernible issues. As of this review I'm currently waiting on Sceptre customer support to know what's up there. The best part of this monitor is the VESA mount (100×100) and the monitor's incredibly light weight, making 2 of them perfect for my desk-clamped monitor stand. Since 1080p is "full HD", and both of these monitors are working just fine at 1080p for me, so I don't know what that other review is talking about. I'm also a gamer, so I use a headset, so speakers on monitors are just ludicrous and useless to me. Even less pointless— to everyone —are speakers on a monitor that someone wants to run into desktop speakers, so that bad review is worthless too. There's literally no reason to run your sound from your computer into your monitors and then into your speakers.

    Cheap and not accurately advertised
    This monitor is very basic. It does not have an audio Out option as advertised and it does NOT have an adjustable base. My new Lenvo yoga via an HDMI cable did not produce an sound from the "BUILT IN" speakers. The picture was adequate. I returned it.
