OMG Awesome 50-inch TV
omg i am so impressed with my new tv, i am totally in love i have to purchase another one. this tv is so awesome. the sound, features and design are excellent. i wouldn't change anything about this tv. i can't get out the bed for watching different shows and all the awesome features..big ups to samsung on this one!! i am in love with this tv!!!

Too Dark
I have tried updating it and all the settings possible but it's very dark, yes I have done all the ambient settings and contrast backlight everything, and all the eco settings. It looks gloomy inside no matter what I do, the picture is using a National Geographic 4k that is usually very bright and vivid. The processor is also very slow to move around the menus.

    The remote is just awful
    i gave it one star because i cannot believe the remote that comes with this tv. in fact we were seriously considering returning the tv all because of the remote. i have never seen anything like this in my life and if this is what remotes are coming down to i sure hope not. we have two other samsung tvs that have regular remotes with number buttons. this thing is just awful. a button for netflix, prime video, samsung plus tv. but the circle has no markings so good luck figuring that out even though there's a manual it's just stupid.

    i had a 11 year old samsung 43 in plasma tv. it was a 720 hd. this 55 in 4k crystal display is a huge upgrade and i love thr picture quality!

    Great TV
    i had an lg television and replaced it with the samsung because the old one was only showing a down load speed of 6 to 8 mbps with a 100 mbps contract with bluestream fiber optics. after hooking up the new television of yours it went to 80 mbps from my wireless router and able to look at 4k movies.

    Good overall, but one issue I can't overlook
    when i first started using this tv, i loved it. the picture was clear and high-res (as it should be), but i eventually started to notice these shadows. they only really appeared when there was a wide area of flat color, or simply not a lot of visual activity on screen. they are not so intense that they are there all the time, but when they do appear i can't overlook them. worst part is, apparently this is normal. i'm currently trying to see if i can somehow replace this tv with a different one. from a different company.
