Best way to integrate whole house audio - AMP
We use Sonos AMPs in our den, our living room, on the deck, and by the pool. The speakers best suited for the sound requirements have been installed and wired to the respective AMP in each area. The AMPs are all wired (CAT 6, 10-Gbps LAN) and perform well. The AMPs are connected with a couple of Sonos wireless speakers, a Sonos Port, and a soundbar. The best part about it is that the systems can be controlled individually, with the music for each suited to the person's mood in the room, or they can all be operated together as one system. Integrating the AMPs with the speakers is simple (I recommend only attaching two speakers per AMP) and provides exceptional sound. When the television in a room is turned on, the AMP for that room automatically switches to TV sound and turns on the soundbar. Sonos are now the leaders in how whole-house audio should be integrated. The only issue is that if a wireless soundbar is used and you have a wired subwoofer plugged into your AMP, the subwoofer is turned off. I have tried the Sonos subwoofer once, and I feel that it lacks the sound quality of my Klipsch subwoofer, so I returned the Sonos subwoofer. Now I have to choose between the subwoofer and the center speaker (soundbar), and the sub wins, especially with action films. If I had to guess, Sonos could easily fix this in a software update. If we all nudge them a little, they may do it.

Connect Amp
I purchased 9 connect amps due to the simplicity and known performance. I'm very disappointed to learn that I will no longer be able to use my iTunes and phone to play across my house. This was the main reason I purchased this system. I'm hoping I will be able to adapt to the changes? I also find the loss of signal and playback to be a issue.

    Top drawer
Always solid performance. Version after version, over time. I leave the equipment when I sell a house (as a feature), and buy the newest stuff knowing it will delight. They know how to charge however, so think through what you need and plan for evolution with confidence in forward comparability.

    Very user friendly
We wanted something easy to use outside with the option to stream music from our phones. I love that it can be set to stream Amazon music and SiriusXM or a playlist from any device on the wireless network. Great sound with the Pradigm speakers! Now the whole neighborhood can listen to AC/DC with me!

Enjoying the AMP as a Home Stereo / TV Set-up
I have Sonos throughout my house (Play 1's, Move, etc) and in my main room I previously had a surround sound set-up with a Beam, 2 Play 1's as rears and Gen 2 Sub. I recently replaced the Beam with the Amp powering two Elac Debut speakers and the sound is a HUGE upgrade. The Beam was good for TV and casual music but the upgrade to the Amp with larger speakers as my fronts has been enormous, especially for music listening which is 90% of the use. I would highly recommend this arrangement for anyone not wanting to go the route of a sound bar.

    Better than expected
I tried a few cheaper Bluetooth options to power my ceiling speakers but kept having issues. I was hesitant to go with the Sonos Amp due to the price but I finally decided to take the plunge. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily it was to connect and integrate all of my streaming services. So far it works flawlessly. Love that I don't have to use Bluetooth from my phone and the fact that I can control everything g from one app is great.

Great amp that pushes outdoor speakers
I bought this to add to my sonos speakers, subwoofer and surround sound through my house. I specifically use the amp to push Bose speakers that are outside. It's amazing to control my whole house from my phone. We can listen to different music at different levels or all the same all over my house. Amazing!!

great addition to the Sonos ecosystem
The Amp is pricey, but quality. you get what you pay for. Great powerful sound, easy setup, useful app, and customization/EQ functions not available on other sound bars and much better looking than other amps. not to mention the quality sound from Sonos and wireless capability. Versatile with inputs/outputs. I have my Amp connected to Bose 791 ceiling speakers that act as surrounds for home theater and music for general listening. I also control my system via the app and Brilliant in wall control.

I only wish I had bought two of them out of the gate
We use this amp outside at our pool house It took all of 10 minutes to mount it I had pre-wired the speaker wires took about five minutes to connect them to the banana clips and plug-in By that time I had downloaded the app to my phone and I was ready to go

A simple way to keep legacy wired speakers alive
I purchased this unit to replace a 20 year old Lynn receiver, while still using the old Lynn speakers which are pretty good. The room is an acoustically live great room - about 25x50 feet, with lots of concrete and glass. The unit was easy to set up and has plenty of power to drive the speakers and fill the room with sound. I am streaming Apple Music from my iPhone using the Sonos App (via AirPlay) which integrates nicely with Apple Music. The unit is also connected to a legacy CD/DVD player and a smart TV via the HDMI ARC connector. My only wish is that the App offered more ability to control the sound quality. It has rudimentary Treble/Bass, Loudness, Fader options, but it feels like there should be more. Overall, I think for the price point, this unit offers good value.
