So much better than a single closet rod!
This worked out really well for my closet which is 68" long. The directions were clear, and the whole thing went up easily following said directions step by step. Taking my time, it took about 2 hours. I had to use the anchors provided, plus some of my own, because I could only find two studs. This closet kit provides me with a lot more usable space, and it is very secure and sturdy.

Description of contents misleading!!!
Per the webpage when I bought this: Closet kit includes (3) 26-in. Shelves, (2) 36-in. Shelves, (2) 36-in. Top Rails, 10 Brackets, (4) 47.5-in. Uprights, and (2) Hang Rods ACTUAL: (1) 26-in. Shelf, (2) 36-in. Shelves, (2) 36-in. Top Rails, (7) Brackets, (4) 47.5-in. Uprights and (3) Hang Rods. So instead of getting 5 shelves, I only received 3. Instead of 10 brackets, I only received 7. I actually needed those other (2) 26-in. shelves. That's why I bought this kit. Totally disappointed that it is represented wrong in the description. This is why the 1 star. Otherwise, I love the Rubbermaid configurations.

    I bought these for my daughter's new home. She loves the versatility of the system. The only problem we are finding it difficult to get the accessories. We are not what you call DIY people, but we were able to put them together fairly well. I would suggest that if you do not screw the uprights to a stud, that you use toggle bolts for extra support.

    I went back for a fourth one
    This used to be called Rubbermaid Fast Track and is compatible with those parts. The shelves and rods are adjustable, and you can rearrange them so easily once you have the pieces that anchor to the wall studs in place. Other things can be added, like drawers, that you would have to purchase separately. I would recommend to anyone who wants something sturdy, adjustable, and clean looking. I think it is priced very affordably for the product that you get.

    Amazing!
    Took a while to install because we needed a stud finder, but after that it was super easy to install. I would have preferred more nails for the holes but other than that, I love love love it. It is worth every cent!

    Just what I needed
    Moved into a space with no closet and needed an economical and fast alternative. Although a bit of a chore to install (about 2.5-3hours) this is neat, holds all my hanging items and is inexpensive..just what I needed.

    Perfect price for the perfect size!
    My closet is just shy of 4' and this organizer was absolutely perfect! It improved on the available space and with a little time and patience, was easy to install with the right tools and the simple-to-follow instructions. I can't imagine finding anything better for the price.

    Good closet when there is none
    I Live in a old house which only has a small closet in one bedroom. I bought this to add a closet in my bedroom. I was skeptical about buying anything because my husband is a big man and his clothes are heavy. I did not want something that would just rip out of the wall a month later. I would have to say that this did the job for me. I can hang all his clothes including jeans and work pants with no worries. I also have blankets on the shelves and they hold just fine. I have had this closet now for over a month and have not had any issues. As for set up it was a little challenging. My husband and I did it together and I don't think it an be done alone. We also used extra anchors and screws that we had at home to add stability, but I don't know if it would be necessary to do this. We just wanted the extra piece of mind.

    Great idea if you don't have closets in your home.
    I originally bought this to create more space in my children's room.It worked out perfectly the way I wanted it too.There room is more organized(which is hard to do with children under 10yrs and close in age) I can now see what belongs to who (Mom's you know what I'm talking about) and I got rid of the bulky dresser that was in the room.I must say, it makes it a lot easier for me to put up clothes and the shelves give you that extra storage that you could always use.And it looks great for the price. I will be purchasing another one for our room and I will use the Walmart shipping again as well. I received my closet kit way before the shipping arrival date and I was pleased with the delivery no broken,missing,torn or bent box here.
