I like the opening feature and it holds trash bags securely. The bags are completely full when you take them out! The lid mechanism is a big flimsy though, and can come apart too easily, with just a thin wire mechanism! But it can be put back together also, which make it doable. I'm satisfied.

    Can Lid Release Tab Not Release Without Assistance
    I bought 2 cans and Both lids do not open when pressing the release tab and without pulling the lid frame apart enough to release the lid. Instead, its easier to lift the entire lid off. Fortunately, my 185lb Newfoundland hasn't tried to get into these new cans. Odors seem to seal in well enough to not attract his Very Food Sensitive lid-level nose. If you have a curious or aggressive trash muncher, this can would Not keep a dog out. 13 gal bags fit perfect. The rim of the can holds the top of the bag snug over the edge without letting go and dropping down into the can when it starts to get heavy with trash. The can color option was only in white when I purchased. It's easy to appear clean and sanitized at first, but since white stains easily I would have preferred a color option. I've tried the No Touch and Foot Pedal cans, and prefer this simple, open-it-up-with-your free-hand, style lid. If you don't mind the Defective Lid Release Tab not releasing on its own when pressing the heck out of it from a multitude of angles, (no, it's not your finger pressure, it's the tab design) then this can is worth the money.
