    Amazing bass in a small package!!!
    If you thinking of adding bass to your car... do it, this amplified subwoofer is all you need. I can't go louder than 25% on the dial in my car, it get so loud that rattles my windows. Small in size, loud, easy to install. Sub has quick disconnect harness, so if you want to go on a road trip and need more space in your trunk just with a flip of a finger harness is detached and sub is out of the car, no tools needed to disconnect and no live wires will be dangling around. Get it you will not be disappointment.

    Added to a system with a Kenwood Excelon head unit (22w x4 RMS) driving four Sound Ordnance 5x7 speakers in a 2006 Ford Focus wagon. No additional amplifier for the main speakers. I have less than $500 into this system. With this sub added to the RCA outs, the overall sound is very surprising. Crossed over at 150Hz through the head unit which allows the door speakers to take care of only the mids & highs. The remote gain control was not installed, as the Kenwood will do that. I did have to run a remote turn on wire as the auto sensing feature was not working reliably. No noise or thumping on turn on. As shoud be expected, it did take some tweaking to get the sound just right. Once that was done, the results were impressive. This relatievely little sub will create enough SPL to flex a ball cap into my head while still being tight and controlled. It isn't flashy, doesn't light up, and may not impress on sight. It certainly does on listening. By the way, I noticed that many reviews on this site are from people that received their items free. I paid for this. VERY highly recommended.
