Tank tops the color I couldn't find in store!
Easy to use, was the color I wanted and now I have two rich chocolate brown tank tops that I couldn't find the color I wanted off the rack. Got the Terra %26 Sky 100% cotton tank tops in white, on sale and made them the exact color I wanted. These were cotton but the dye would have worked on Polyester or a blend just as well from what the package said

Doesn't work
Followed all directions on Rit Dye website, prewash item, add dish soap to solution, heat water in large porcelain pot on stovetop, test strip etc. Dyed a pair of light grey heathered leggings, in hopes of matching a shirt with darker grey on it. Leggings are 92% polyester, 8% spandex. Well my item is now a blueish color in heathered areas and still doesn't match. It's barley darker then it started out. Don't waste your $. Buy whatever it is your trying to dye. I did manage to dye my countertop, and sink, and clothing I was wearing with spots.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/25/2023Yes! Now all my 613's are a nice ashy ice blond!!!First off sorry for the crazy face lol. I hadn't cut the lace front yet so it's still visible. I purchased a 613 wig and to me they always look so yellow so I bought the RIT dyemore to tone it and it worked pretty well for synthetic wigs. I used 6 capfuls with the largest bottle of rubbing alcohol I could find(the 99% works best) mixed it together in a heavy plastic tub(foot bath from the $ store works well)and let it sit for 20 mins checking every 6 mins. If it's too ashy use some dish soap and it removes a lot of it. It does dye the underside of the cap but no one sees that. Going to be buying the blue dyemore next for some of my brunette wigs to get the orange hues neutralized. It only works with the dyemore, so unless you want to actually dye it, this review is just for toning a 613 wig.DesiDinks

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/16/2022Worked like a charm! This worked great! I dyed a camisole and a sports bra. They both came out exactly as I had hoped. I didn't have a 3 gal. stainless steel pot so I used the inner pot to my Instant Pot. I would definitely use this dye again!Joy

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/12/2022Color worked. Process not so much.I used this to dye a synthetic wig. I ordered the wig at Walmart online, it said it golden blonde. It was actually a golden platinum. Just a quick dip and the color came out fine. However, the shape of the wig was destroyed from the hot water and rinsing. If I ever try this again, I would be less agressive about rinsing.FriendlyRealtor

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/07/2022Pretty purpleRit was really easy to use. I used it to dye a white hoodie. I just poured the dye in my washer using hot water, and put my hoodie in the washer with it. And let it run its regular cycle. And when I pulled my hoodie out of the washer, it was a really pretty dark lavender color.Keisha
