This helmet is great. I has vents in it that pull cool, fresh air into the helmet and push hot, air out to keep your head cool and comfortable. It fits perfectly with goggles,there's no gap to make goggles all foggy. It has an inner removable fleece lining that can be removed for easy cleaning. The chin strap is cushioned for comfort and no rubbing.

Limited padding affects comfort
The Traverse H3 Youth Ski/Snowboard Helmet has some excellent padding around the ears for warmth and comfort, but lacks adequate padding along the back and crown of the helmet which can affect comfort. The padding in these areas appears to be a soft cotton pad as opposed to a harder foam and thus when you push down (or assumably if there was an impact to the head while wearing the helmet) you can feel the inner grommets of the ski goggle clip or other connectors along the top. Therefore I couldn't recommend this helmet. However, the hot pink color is definitely eye catching and will make your child easy to keep track of even in whiteout conditions and the chin strap and ear padding are very nice.

    Really like this helmet.
    This seems to be a good helmet. I like how it covers the whole head which protects better unlike a regular bike helmet. It has good cushion to help make it comfortable. The only negative I see is that the straps aren't as adjustable as I would like. Otherwise I would recommend it.

    Maximum Comfortability
    The Traverse H3 Youth Ski/Snowboard Helmet looks and feels very high quality. I love the look of the helmet. It is a very vibrant color of hot pink with a beautiful contrasting mint green color and black detailing. This helmet has a thick layer of protective foam but is also lined with a very soft layer for maximum comfortability. This helmet also provides plenty of ventilation for comfortability during long wear times. One of my favorite features of the helmet is the the velcro cushion that goes under the chin where the clip typically is. The clip is to the side of this cushion. This little bonus feature is actually a big plus for comfort in an area of a helmet that can be uncomfortable and frustrating for children. My other favorite feature is the plush earmuffs. The earmuffs have their own foam layer that will provide ear protection and keep those little ears warm during winter activity. Even with all of these layers and features, this helmet is still very lightweight. I will feel much more secure letting my daughter be active when using this well designed helmet. I am happy to give it a 5 star rating!

    The Retrospec Traverse H3 Youth Ski, Snowboarder and Snowmobile helmet is full of great features. There is a goggle clip so your little one has one less thing to remember. The chin strap is padded and adjustable as well for superior comfort and fit. It is lined with impact absorbing EPS foam for lightweight protection. The ear pads are removable for those days when it is not so frigid. The helmet is designed for maximum air flow, with ten vents and moisture wicking lining, unwanted moisture should be at a minimum. If you are planning a snowy adventure with a little one, get them this well equipped helmet for their comfort and protection, and your peace of mind.

    Great youth helmet
    This Retrospec Traverse H3 youth helmet is for sking, snowboarding and snowmobiling. It is full of great features at an even better price point. There is a goggle clip to keep your child's eye protection handy while on the slopes. The padded adjustable chin strap is soft to prevent chaffing. Removable padded earmuffs unsnap from the restraints in the warmer months for more versatility. The helmet is made with soft fabrics yet is constructed for durability for reliable protection. It is designed to be warm for the most frigid temperatures but has great air flow features. This helmet performed as it specified and kept my child safe while playing on the slopes all day.

    Great product!
    We received our Traverse H3 snowboard helmet from the Spark Review Program and we couldn't be happier! The helmet is absolutely adorable and the colors look awesome together! My daughter was so excited to try it out and surprisingly it fits her perfect! The only option we had left was the xs and her having a little bit of a bigger head, we didn't think it would go over as easily. Luckily, it fits ! I think a small would have been a tad to big even! The helmet itself is comfortable and well padded, but not overly padded that it becomes hot or uncomfortable. The latch under her neck isn't itchy or rough like other helmets we have tried; it feels secure and once we got it to the right adjustment, it didn't wobble back and forth on her head. I would highly recommend this! Not just for the looks but more importantly for you to stress a little less knowing your child is safe and happy during any winter sport they may do!

    Great for active snow lovers!
    The Retrospec Traverse H3 Youth Ski, Snowboard, and Snowmobile Helmet came in a dull black color. It came in a youth small size that fits a 52-55 cm in size. It also has an adjustable chin strap and very thick padding throughout the interior of the helmet. The first thing I noticed was the extra padding on each side of the helmet. When my son put the helmet on, he immediately felt this extra soft padding and commented on it saying, it feels nice and comfortable. I am happy that the extra soft padding is there for safety and support. I also like the many vents that are located on the top of the helmet. This will help my so keep cool during his play in the snow. My son really likes the googles clip that is located in the back of the helmet. I am hoping that this clip will help keep his goggles from getting lost. The only thing I wished this helmet had was a color strip or a reflective strip on top of the helmet. This would help me to keep track of my child among the many snow skiers and snowboarders on the slopes. Overall, the Retrospec Traverse H3 Youth Ski, Snowboard, and Snowmobile Helmet is great to have for your active snow child.

    I received this product and it's very well made. It has two straps which fasten just below the chin.It has a padded chin strap and the strap is adjustable. The fasteners on the straps are made well. It has a hardshell top. It's very soft inside and can be wore with ease. I would recommend to Family and Friends.This is a great product.

    Nice and Bright!
    This is a wonderful helmet for the kiddo. I like the structure of the ear flaps. Stiff is not the word to describe them but they aren't floppy like some other helmets. They hug your child's face, helping protect them from the elements as well as making them feel secure. The chinstrap was easy enough to adjust, and the removable chin protector has good cushion. It seems well ventilated but what I like most is the bright color. It really helps spotting them in the snow on the hill. The goggle strap on the back is a little loose, I wish that it snapped into the helmet to help keep them secure, but I don't expect my kid to be doing any cliff jumping anytime soon. Overall it is a nice product that will do the job that hopefully we will never have to test out.
