Great Buy!!
My 12yr old loves it! My concern was that it would be too short but its a perfect fit for him. My son is about 5 foot 6 inches. Also it is not too fast, light weight, and can fold down to fit in small places. Not too expensive. Great buy and highly recc!!

Very weak motor and very hard wheels
The motor simply stops on the slightest incline or with winds. The wheels are rock like stiff and will transmit terrible vibrations even on good pavement roads. It's a toy, cannot use for small commuting

good entry level escooter for kids
We got this scooter for our preteens. We find the scooter to be of good built quality overall and a good entry level e-scooter for the price. It's top speed of 10 mph is not fast but it's zippy enough for use around the parks and trails nearby our house. It's relatively weak motor means it is only good for flat surfaces and not for any inclines. For our 9 yr old it is perfectly fine but for our 12 yr old boy it is too slow for him so we will look at another scooter with more powerful motor for him.

    Incredible durability, quality and safety!
I have tested a lot of scooters - and I am quite the scooting enthusiast. In fact, I am a professor of transportation planning at NYU school of engineering and I teach courses on street design and sustainability. I believe in the micromobility revolution and preach its virtues. My first scooter was the original Razor aluminum 20 years ago. Prior to going electric I rode a Micro kickboard and more recently an A6 (which was sadly stolen). However I really have fallen in love with my A5 Power and own 5 of them. To me this is the perfect ride because it is far lighter than anything else on the market, making it easy to take on transit and in my office and house. I have a hernia and lifting more than 20 lbs is a real danger to my health. I dont mind the low range and speed because I supplement the power with kicking, which I like because I am used to it and enjoy getting a little exercise. I LOVE that there is no resistance and in fact I often ride it entirely in kick mode. This keeps the scooter light and fun and the range infinite! If you run out of power, its a fantastic kick scooter. The best part of the scooter is its durability. Every other ride I have owned has died, lost parts (or came with broken parts) or just was built poorly. The Power A5 is a tank. I broke one by somehow damaging the wire from the throttle but Razor quickly replaced it. I really dont know why this isnt a big hit - for me there is just nothing else like it. That said, I would like to recommend a few improvements for the V2. Eliminate any exposed wires as this is a durability issue (there is only one anyway) Add a hand (disc) brake. Add front and rear lights (I have to add own and it is not optimal) Add a simple, small power meter/speedometer. Nothing fancy please! The simpleness of this ride is its strength Give us some color options! Something striking like white or yellow - or at least some accents! I think keeping its low weight and free wheel is key, so for me the power/range is fine, but maybe a 200w motor would be an improvement, as long as it doesnt increase weight too much. Regardless I have not found anything close to this for any price. I am afraid they will run out if people get the message that this is so good!

    Bought new used scooter
I haven't used my scooter yet but it just arrived and I have it charging the initial 10 hours. But upon closer inspection there seems to be scratches in the metal and other signs of wear. This was clearly a used and returned model and I am very upset about that. Otherwise the scooter feels solid and I believe it is fine, although I will update this after my first test ride. Walmart should really state if an item was box open or returned and given me a discount.

    Great product!
So I'll start off by saying how much fun this electric scooter is! I was not expecting it to be as awesome as it is! My (soon to be) 8 year old daughter hasn't put the thing down except when it needs charged or when I pry her off from it! Her father and I even had a great time “unboxing” it when it first came in the mail! Upon opening you should charge it for 12 straight hours, which we did, and then the battery has its fullest life supposably. I left ours charging for 24 hours and it didn't over heat such as a hover board would. The battery life on the scooter is longer than we had expected as well. We rode on gravel and in the grass, but mostly on pavement and it lasted a good 40 minutes. The only complaints I have about it is the bulkiness and the weight. My daughter obviously can't carry it herself and it is harder to fit in the shed where we store it. Also, I wish they would make the tires more on/ off road, that comes in handy at the parks where we live due to all the pot holes and terrible upkeep of the grounds. But all and all, it's a great product and we enjoy it daily!

    Super Fun!
Overall, this scooter is very fun. The kids loved it! It's very easy to assemble. A 13-year old actually did open the package and assembled the scooter all by herself. She said it was obvious to her how to put everything together and she did not need the directions at all until it came to the handlebars. Once the scooter was assembled, it was plugged in and charged fully before taking it on the first ride. She practiced folding it a few times and that was not difficult. They took the scooter for a spin around the neighborhood. They said it was nice and smooth on the way up a hill, but not very fast which is probably good for safety. And the scooter was very fast on the way downhill, but the ride got a little bumpy. The handlebars vibrated a lot, but they said the scooter always felt in control. They also noticed that the scooter stopped very quickly when the breaks were pushed. Because it's so much heavier, the kids did comment that it was hard to do tricks with, which from a parent point of view is probably nice. Overall, it was a total hit. The kids enjoy riding the scooter before school and after school every day. They did notice that the scooter stayed at full power for only about 20-minutes before it started slowing down. That's probably the only area of opportunity. It does not take long to power the scooter back up, but the limited battery power means that they cannot go very far. One nice feature is that you can still use it like a regular scooter when it does run out of power. I thought it might have drag but they noticed that if they did a few leg pumps along with running the motor, the battery lasted significantly longer. Overall, great scooter! Great for kids 8-14. I think much older and they would want something faster. Much younger and they might not be ready for it.

    Good Buy!
I received the scooter last week. My 10 year old nephew was our “tester” and he loves it. He's been using it daily ever since. It's light, fast enough for him (10mph). Easy for him to control. It definitely folds up easy, which is a super plus. It also looks good! From a power point of view, it does well on the paved streets around our driveway & neighborhood. As always with rechargeable gizmos, I am a bit concerned about battery depletion, so I'll be watching the battery for the next couple of months. But overall, great electric scooter.
