Trusted name and extreme fun
This scooter has been such a joy to our family. Our 16 month old loves riding on it with me (in a baby Bjorne and with a helmet). The battery lasts for the advertised 50 minutes at a minimum but I haven't experienced a situation where it completely died. It does lose speed as the battery wears down but it's still just as fun. The wheels are very grippy and I've even ridden it in wet conditions (no baby) without any issue. It charges fairly quickly and can get to a usable state within 30 minutes and almost all the way within an hour. The handlebar grips and throttle/brake levers are ergonomically comfortable and it feels as if the brake has anti-lock technology built in. So you shouldn't expect to be skidding all over the place. Overall, this scooter is a blast and provides a great opportunity to make countless memories with your family/friends.

Should be priced no more than $200
I purchased this scooter to get around quicker on my college campus. The bike was fine for me either going downhill or over flat land, as well as if I was driving it at night given its extremely bright headlight. However, my first red flag was the brakes. Compared to handle bar brakes, the electronic brake given can be quite weak. This becomes especially apparent while driving the scooter in inclement weather as the brakes essentially have no use, especially when going down hills. For the price, I was expecting it to do well with going uphills; $400 is a lot just for a scooter as a college student lol. Unfortunately, it does not handle hills whatsoever; the scooter will come to hault and begin rolling back, even with the brakes used. Another flaw I noticed with the scooter is the battery/mileage. The fifteen mile range advertised feels exaggerated considering after each use around campus, the battery is already low (my campus is very small, which says a lot about the battery). TLDR: if you are looking for a pricey electric scooter that works on mostly flat land, shines brightly at night, and has good name recognition, then this is the perfect one for you. Otherwise, it would be better to look elsewhere, just as I am now going to do.

Great item, could use some sort of color marking for the headlight bar that connects to the lower half, have to eyeball it to set it straight with the wheel. The 4 pin connector was a pain to connect because the wire was too short inside the headlight part.

    Positives and Negatives
What I like about this scooter is that it is quite on smooth roads and it picks up at a fast speed when you want it to. What I also like about this scooter is that it has a headlight and tail light which is useful in dark environments. The battery is very good. It can easily go 15 miles distance based on your terrain. It's a great commuter scooter. One of the improvements that could be implemented is when the battery is around 60%, the scooter starts decreasing it's maximum speed.

Such a fun scooter in a compact package
Whether heading down the street to a friend's house, or around the corner to the market, this scooter is so much fun to ride. It only requires an easy push-off, a small flick of the thumb, and you're off. It's a really great feeling to ride this through the streets and get to your destination much more quickly than by walking. The headlight is very bright at night, and the rear light/brake light adds a welcomed sense of safety. The scooter folds up into a very compact form, and is pretty easy to carry. The brakes work really well, and stop you quickly and safely. I really enjoy riding this scooter, and I actually kind of get excited when my wife has a quick errand for me to run that I can take my scooter. The build quality is top-notch and I would, without reservation, recommend this scooter to anyone looking to buy a scooter for themselves.

    Great Electric Scooter
The scooter is a little heavy, but it does move well. It gets up to about 10 mph, but I am also a little heavier so my weight also contributed to slower speeds than advertised. The scooter instructions says to charge up to 8 hours, but even when drained almost to 0% it was fully charged in under 5 hours using the provided wall charger. I liked having the light for a few night rides that I did around the neighborhood, but it is a little too bright for oncoming cars. I had a few neighbors tell me that it blinded them when riding towards them. The scooter handles well on dry and wet roads. I had to ride on the grass to avoid a family and some dogs in one area... it will not run on grass at all. It did well in loose gravel, sand, even some mud, but NO GRASS. The scoot has a great design and feel, but may be too heavy for ladies. The one thing I did not like very much is the ability to fold the scooter for storage. Since the scooter is so bottom heavy it makes it a bit harder to fold it without smashing your hands or knocking your head with the handle bar. It's a nice feature, but I don't like it very much. Overall, I was impressed by the ride time and reliability of the materials.

    Ride EZ
This scooter is much more amazing than i had anticipated! IT's got such a smooth ride and it's got great distance! I was pleasantly surprised how far i could go, and come back, without needing to stop and charge it multiple times. It's super fun to ride, and I feel like a boss not having to use one of those lame Lime scooters.

    Best thing ever
My family was so excited to get the Razor Prime e III scooter! Straight out of the box we could tell this was going to be a hit in our household. Within 5 minutes it was assembled and after 8 hours of charging we were off! Words can't explain how amazing this thing is. With speeds up to 18 mph and 50 minutes of ride time, this scooter is unlike any other we have seen. It's so easy to maneuver and it's cool because it has a hand and foot brake. This thing also FLIES on the open road. We could not have gotten this at a better time. We are all fighting over it...daily. Now to decide which Razor scooter to get next!
