So fun!
My son loves this. He is 6 with an above average head size, and it fits well. The Mohawk is super fun and flexible. The pens are like neon paint pens. He really enjoyed decorating the helmet. I will say the paint scratches off easily. Once it comes off you can decorate it again. Fun product!

Who knows safety can be this fun?
The helmet is true to size. It would be best to measure your kids' head circumference instead of going by the age range. The inside padding is adequate and comfortable. Straps are average and easily adjustable. The added spiked makes it look cool; do not worry, it is completely bendable, and will not cause any harm. However, the material used for the spikes attracts dust and dirt but can easily be wiped off. The coolest part is that you can customize to your liking; it came with 5 neon pens (red, blue, yellow, green and pink). It is more opaque as it dries. The ink stays but can be easily be erased and wiped off; you can customize it as much as you like. You can also use permanent ink if you like and maybe use a top coat if you want the marks to be permanent. This was a cool and fun craft project with my kid. I highly recommend!

    Son loves it!
    My son thinks that it is awesome! Now, he hasn't had an accident yet. But hopefully it does what it is supposed to. It is cool that he can give it his own look or even leave it blank. He is only 4 so he does more of just making a mess on it than real drawings.

    really fun!
    My son just turned five, and needed a new helmet. He LOVES this one. It helps that he can decorate it himself, and was really excited. When he first started using the markers that came with it, we were disappointed because they didn't really show up, BUT as they dry, they get much brighter, so don't worry about that!

    Fun and safe
    My son loves The raskullz color me hawk child helmet. He enjoyed using the special markers that were included to color his helmet. I loved seeing his imagination as he designed his own. Material seems durable enough for a child. Hard top with a kind of plastic Spike design on top. Whatever the material of the spikes are makes dirt and dust easy to attract, though. Easy enough to clean. The inside foam is exactly what you would expect. One will have to be careful but it has a nice cushion for comfort wear and protection I would recommend this product to establish a fun way to teach bike helmet safety.

    Perfect boys helmet
    The design of this helmet is really cool and being able to draw on it to design whatever you want is really cool. Fits my 6 year old perfectly and is comfortable. The inside is attached by Velcro so it's easy to clean. Some of the colors don't show up when you first draw with the markers, but they dry super bright. The marker also cleans off with water. Straps and clip are durable. My son was super stoked to draw his own designs and couldn't wait to get outside to use this helmet! Highly recommend!!

    Raskullz Color Me Hawk Child Helmet is a wonderful product. It fits great for my 5 years old son, and there is a space for his growing. He loves it, as he can create his own designs on the helmet with the included dry erase markers. Markers clean easily with warm water. My son was so excited to write his name on the helmet, and draw something to create a custom look. My son looks so cool in this helmet. This helmet is soft and comfortable inside, and durable outside. I am satisfied with the quality, it looks sturdy, and it will keep safe my child from bumps. The helmet came with owner's manual, which is very helpful, and contains safety information, fitting tips and other important information. I would recommend this product for everyone who would like to protect his kids during active sports.

    Makes helmets a bit more fun
    My son hates the feel of helmets. He was a bit more enthusiastic about this one. The row of rubber spikes is unique but this one comes with some markers to draw your own designs on. The fit is good and the chin strap offers quite a bit of room to adjust. It fits like a regular kids bike helmet. The spikes are soft rubber that won't interfere with safety. The rest is a shiny black. It looks nice the way it is. If you want to customize, it comes with 5 markers (pink, blue, green, yellow, and red) that go on like paint markers and dry like chalk. They wipe off pretty easily with a dry paper towel and completely wipe away with a wet wipe. The marker will transfer to skin but didn't stain hands. My kids liked drawing their own designs.

    My kid is a little bigger than the average 5 year old but this size fits him well. It doesn't bother him when it's connected beneath his chin. Drawing on it is fun for him, I haven't tried it yet, but I would imagine a alcohol wipe can clear off some if you make a mistake. Overall he likes it and the style is cool for him.

    Great for any child 5+ that also loves to color
    This black child helmet is unique in a way that it lets children decorate it with their own designs. It comes with markers that allows them to dray or write on the helmet and color it too. My niece decided she wanted to decorate hers with her skateboard theme since she enjoys riding her skateboard. Younger children might want you to do the decorating. The markers when first applies doesn't look like it will show up, but once it dries, it shows up perfectly. As for The helmet and it's construction and safety, it's made very well. The inside has extra support for the crown. The padding is great and very thick for ultimate protection. The chin strap holds the helmet in place, but the helmet should not be too loose on the child's head. My niece is 8 years old, but she has a small head for her age and the helmet for her great. I'd recommend this to boys and girls that skateboard, rollerblade or ride a bike.
