5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/02/2022Very positive productThis penne is probably the best pasta of its kind, in my opinion! It cooks up really well while holding its texture and shape. It does not get mushy or soggy. Makes great chicken soup. It has alot of detail to the production of the item, it taste like time was spent in its creation.Linda

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/10/2022Ironless valueOne of the only convenient and regularly in stock dry pastas that aren't enriched with iron. Definitely recommend as it doesn't have to he gluten free or over $5!Steven

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/21/2022I love all RaoI love all Rao products! The taste is fresh and there is no added sugars or preservatives in them. Their pasta holds its shape and doesn't break apart when being stirred into the sauce. Highly recommend if you haven't already tried. It's slightly more expensive, but I would even pay more it's so good! Rao's Penne Rigatejpdietrich123

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/18/2022This pasta is awesomeThis pasta is awesome, it's made to hold onto more sauce with the bronze dies that they use, it's "heartier" almost. The price point can be a little startling though, as it's more than double, say, barilla. But it's worth it in my opinion, and ill continue to buyshellybella1215

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/31/2022The Rao's penne rigateThe Rao's penne rigate stays together/maintains it shape well when being used in a baked pasta dish. I have also found that this penne stands up well with a heavy sauce, such as a meat sauce, an Alfredo sauce, or even when paired with meat like sausage, meatballs, or chunks of bracciole. I have even used it successfully in pasta Primavera dishes. Whenever I serve this specific brand of penne, I get compliments as "the sauce really stays on this penne" or "this penne is perfectly al dente." Is it the recipe, the cook, or the specific brand of pasta? Or maybe a touch of all 3? All I know is that for holidays and special occasions, this is the only penne I buy.prgoddess1
