Great, complete map for adventure
I loathe GPS as is only half right, half the time and rarely let's you take a really fun, out of the way drive. Give me a real up to date map. Love to wander. There is a lot out there.

Spiral binding cuts into the maps flow.
Large scale print is a wonderful idea but this 2021 Rand McNally Atlas is so chopped up it turned into a worthless item. The spiral binding creates a gap over 1 inch, not good when a major town is cut up in the gap. The spiral binding is also not lining up many states pages causing straight highways and interstates to appear to dip and curve when they actually don't. There are no regular full state maps included to compare, it's just a blown up map that's been cut into random pieces and spiral bound. If you need an atlas go with the regular print size, non spiral bound one. Please see attached photos for example.

    I didnt realize this was so large, but decided to keep it. I wanted the smaller version. I didnt notice the size of this book of maps. I really like it, its just too large to use while driving.

    I prefer this Road Atlas to GPS to plan long trips. It is very easy to read and covers all areas of your trip in minutes. I have lost time a few times with my GPS.

    Excellent maps!
    This is an excellent atlas. The spiral binding allows easy page turns, and the book lays nice and flat. The maps are clear and well marked. Just what I would expect from Rand McNally!

    Don't start a road trip without this
    Large pages and easy to read. Spiral binding lets you fold it backwards or lay flat. Ive used a much older version of this and loved it. This one is much better.

    A Must Have in Our Cars!!
    We may have Nav systems in our cars and on our phones, but nothing beats a Rand McNally atlas. We love to see the "big picture".....where we have been and where we are going. The National Park maps are great, as is all the info that the map legend listed. We don't leave home without one!!

    The cover is too stiff and makes it awkward to use unless it is lying flat; like on a table. Which is very inconvenient for travel. I can see that the cover will be negative issue each time it is used. Also it we be much more convenient if all the maps were laid out the same way so that you don't have to flip the whole atlas to view a different state.The larger scale of the maps are a huge plus for "older" eyes. Overall I am disappointed for the inconvenience of use!

    The atlas is great. It's very detailed. The only negative thing I can say about it is, that Walmart needs to change who they ship through. The company they used, lost the first atlas, and didn't deliver the replacement until the day after it was supposed to be delivered.

    The Essential Road Trip Planning Tool
    The visibility, layout, colors used, and level of detail included is outstanding. This edition is our first replacement atlas since 2004, beats our phone and car GPS for planning road trips. If you are a map lover, you won't be disappointed. Also, love the spiral binding.
