INDOOR vs. OUTDOOR antenna
Check your Area FIRST to see if you need an INDOOR vs. OUTDOOR antenna... Two sites to check with: https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps https://www.antennaweb.org/Address I checked these sites and purchased this antenna - even without the booster portion, my antenna works fabulously! If I understood Spanish, I would have about 20 stations from which to choose... but alas, I only speak English, so I have about six channels. Great little unit. Play around with the location to figure out what works best for your location and the direction of the most signal strength. I cut the cable several years ago and haven't missed a thing. Now that HBO has decided to share the HBO Go with us - you'll never miss that $70-$200 cable TV bill! Shop around for the best price on this model - I paid significantly less for mine.

    RCA Amplified Antenna works well
    Equipment has a nice, sleek, modern appearance. Easy install once we found the best window in my kids room from a signal perspective for our inside installation. We did need to buy additional coax cable (available @ Walmart) and a set of connectors to position the tv in the room where it was desired as the RCA antenna only has a few feet of coax/cord. So far so good and working as expected! We haven't had any severe weather yet, so I can't speak to reception during storms.

    Great antenna
    This antenna works great!!! I never write reviews, I just always read everyone else's to get feedback. I purchased one a week ago to try it out and it exceeded my expectations so I ordered another one for my office. I had it search for channels and 33 came in and are all crystal clear HD quality!!! I have recommended this to 3 friends already that don't like the high cable bills.

    Brings in stations clearly on an HDTV
    We were hoping that it would work by just mounting it in one place, but we still have to move it to get a couple of channels. We live about 150 miles from the stations, so it is difficult to use an indoor antenna that will pick up well. We have an RCA antenna similar to this one that works well on one TV, so we bought this for one in another room. It works well and the picture is extremely sharp and clear.

    Working very well, but only with PBS channels
    I bought this device because I mostly watch PBS for news and documentaries and do not want to pay for even basic TV services. It works very well: I got all the PBS channels and the reception is pretty stable. I wish I could get CBS for its 60 Minutes program but the channel is no where to be got. It all depends on your location, according to my research. I guess if one can afford a more sophisticated and expensive device, one can get more channels. The device is easy to set up and the design is very simple & elegant. I'm pleased with it. There may other ways to get more channels, which I don't really bother since I've got what I want. Since you're not sure whether you live in an area that allows you to receive more channels, you'd be better off buying from Walmart or a chain store with a branch in your area so you can simply return if it doesn't work. I bought this device online at Walmart Web site & the delivery is very quick and reliable.

    Great for an indoor antenna
    This works well for an indoor antenna. This antenna blocks out fuzzy channels that don't come in well and boosts closer channels so they are clearer. I have several other RCA antennas and this is definitely the best indoor antenna they make. The cheaper RCA antennas sometimes bring in fuzzy channels that you can't watch because the signal is too far away. I would rather have fewer channels, but have them be clear rather than to watch pixelated fuzzy channels. That's why I recommend this one over the cheaper models.

    We are 23 miles from the major stations and 42 from PBS. Bought two, get great reception from these and other stations, so cancelled cable & got Netflix. Great product! Big savings!
