Not what I thought it would be
I was excited when I bought this thinking it would help my dogs allergies with it being Grain free and no chicken. Wrong. He's biting and itching more now than before. And did I mention, he does not like the dog food. Looks at it then at me "Is this all I get?" and walks away. I even try putting something he would like to get him to eat it and he'll pick the dog food out and spit it on the floor. Now back to square one looking for a different dog food.

    Premium dog food for affordable pricing!
    This is the only food I can give my frenchie that doesn't make him throw up or have digestive issues. This food is amazing and ever since switching over to this we've seen huge positive impacts on all three of our dogs fur and even their temperament. They have more energy and sleep better at night and have built up muscle and really improved on their bodies. Their fur is so soft and beautiful now! You can tell this is quality food and the price is affordable and the packaging is very appealing. Trying this was the best decision we've ever made for our pups!

    Great Quality for this price.
    Surprised by the quality! I usually cook for my frenchies or feed raw, but they digested this really well and have no issues! The first ingredient is pure Lamb and the following ingredients are great! Yes, there's some pork fat and listed Lamb meal, but for this price overall really great quality! If I feed dry food, I used Orijen, which is twice the price for similar quality. So I definitely can give this food to them every few days or in between.

    This food gave my dog a LOT of intestinal issues: extreme gas, and multiple (4-5) bowel movements per walk, which was absurd -- how much nutrition was he actually getting at that point. And it did NOTHING for his coat. I eventually got a refund on the last bag I bought...extremely displeased after 4-5 bags of a trial period. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I've since changed to Life Protection by Blue Buffalo, Lamb...boticravly different.

    A winner for dogs with chicken allergies
    For a dog that has an allergy to chicken, she loves it. It has all the same ingredients and vitamins of the the other food in this category but is almost half the price.

    Highly recommend No more diarrhea or upset stomach
    Until I tried this poultry free food, my pup had diarrhea and was constantly hungry. She had several bowel movements during the night which meant that I was awake most of the night cleaning up after her. Poor baby had to deal with me trying all kinds of remedies, vet recommended, but nothing worked. I continued to research and finally found pet parents who enlightened me to the fact that she might be allergic to chicken. I never knew this could have been the problem. It was!! I always cook some additional protein for my 2 dogs that I add to their meals. I stopped cooking chicken entirely and opted for turkey, white rice, pumpkin and began adding this kibble to her meals, little by little. AMAZING!! No more diarrhea, no more vomiting, no more being up all night cleaning up after my sweet girl. Plus, she's much more calm during the day and sleeps better through the night! I'm thrilled!! If you have a pup that's been having dietary issues, tummy issues, poopie issues - give this a try. Add to their diet slowly and discontinue anything that lists ANY chicken by product, meal, etc. in their product. I hope this helps someone out there with a similar issue. I'm sticking with this product and highly recommend it!

    Great stuff for dogs with skin issues
    I have a German Shepherd who has problems with hot-spots/itching/allergies on standard cheap dog foods... I am not sure if she's allergic to chicken or grain but Pure Balance Lamb (specifically lamb) was a great find because it's reasonably priced (some of the grain free dog foods are 3-6$/pound)
