My dogs love this brand, been using it for 4yrs
I've been feeding my dog this specific brand since he was a puppy back in 2018. When i got him, he ate Pedigree, but that made his skin flaky and he always had loose stool. Then, i found this brand and he's been on it ever since. Even my small dog that i got in 2019 when she was a puppy has been on it. Also, my 1st dog is picky so he was eat the Bison flavor, tried the Salmon that was a no go. So, now that he's larger I get a 30lb instead of the 24lb bison. Those colorful foods, I hate them and they do as well, but if it's within your budget get a good brand. I'm also having a hard time getting this food all of a sudden, I had no problems before until now.

Made my dogs sick
I fed this to my 2 dogs for 2 weeks and they both had diarrhea the whole time. Took me a while to narrow the problem down to the food but as soon as I switched back to the salmon flavor from the same brand, they were healthy again. Had to throw a lot away. Maybe it was just a bad batch but I will never buy it again. We love the other flavor-- good value for the limited ingredient recipe my old dog needs due to allergies.

    Gotta love this Food
    I switched to Pure Balance after reading up on it. With all the rising costs in dog food, I was looking for an economical food which still was healthy for my two Boxers. I had been feeding Taste of the Wild but the price increased again and there had been recalls on certain formulations. I read the good reviews on Pure Balance and decided to give it a try. My dogs love it and so do I! It is very comparable to Taste of the Wild, but it is more easily digested and it causes much less gas. My Boxers coats are beautiful and they are experiencing less shedding. All in all, this was a good change.

    THIS IS GOOD FOOD, GOOD PROTEIN, DOGS LIKED. I QUIT BUYING BECAUSE OF SEVERAL PRICE INCREASES. ITS MADE FOR WALMART SO I FEEL LIKE WALMART COULD HAVE CONTROLED PRICE BETTER. I BOUGHT THROUGH SEVERAL PRICE INCREASES THEN GAVE UP.

    Awesome quality; great price
    I love this entire brand. It took 10 months before I found dog food that didn’t give my dog the runs. Immediate change in the first week with my dogs excrement and energy levels. The first impressive thing is the ingredients list. Its very first ingredients are meats and not a bunch of fillers. Last, the price is reasonable for such high quality food.

    My dogs really like the food… my complaint is with the amount that was in my last bag. There was no way 30lbs in food in it. I struggle lifting heavy items due to a failed back surgery and I had no problem lifting it. Between that and the level it went up to on the container I put it in… it was short by a good 4-5 inches and it’s a large capacity container. The container holds 30lbs worth of food and the food normally goes up to the top and it wasn’t even close. I shouldn’t be paying full price for food that’s being shorter. I would of given it a 1 star except my dogs enjoy the food. If it happens again… I’m going back to the food they really enjoy. I switched because it was out of stock for a long time. Do better Walmart distribution!

    DO NOT BUY FOR DOGS
    My dog has never been so sick after adding this brand to her food. I decided to use a different brand since hers was no longer available due to shipping costs. I mixed 1/3 with her current brand. She was up most of the night vomiting with diarrhea. I am stuck with food she can't eat and a brand I will never use again. I chose this because it didn't have chicken as an ingredient because my dog can't tolerate it and it was convenient. I would rather pay the exorbitant fee for shipping to have my dog happy and healthy than the vomiting

    Disappointed
    I am so disappointed. My dog, Shih Tzu, loves this food and has been eating it since he was four months old. I usually pay $20.00 for the 15-pound bag. Now it's $30.00
