Bag delivered with hole patched.
My dog likes it and I like the main ingredients. I add a small quantity to the chicken and rice meal I cook for him. The reason for my one star rating is that I just noticed that the bag was ripped in one place (total length of cut 2 inches) and the store or deliverer had patched the hole with transparent tape. Walmart QA better take notice of such incidents.

    Switched my allergy prone American Staffie to this brand when he was two and he loves it. Allergies cleared up right away. He has been on it 5 years now with no return of the allergies. It is sometimes hard to find in the large bag which always concerns me as I'm afraid it won't be available when I run out. I try to buy two bags at a time to keep in stock.

    My 2 dogs absolutely dislike this dog food brand. Neither my Aussiedoodle nor shih tzu will eat much of any of it. They both leave their bowls full everyday now. I've added canned dog food and mixed it in. They both always eat canned dog food. But even mixing this dog food with canned food - my shih tzu turns away. My Aussiedoodle will eat some of it- maybe 30%.

    the best dog food for the price
    i love pure balance..i switched from purina one because they use genectually modified soy in their products and my 13 old dog has been diagnosed with cushings disease..This is my first time trying this flavor and my dogs love it!!! I will be using this brand from now on out..thank you walmart for coming up with a great brand that has taurine for the heart and free range beef!!!

    Really loved the puppy version in this brand but now that our frenchie is older I decided to give adult food a whirl. It's been over a week and hes not adjusting. He has crapped on my white carpets twice now. Id return the rest but I dump my food into a plastic food safe and recycle the bag. Had enough.. going to go and get a new brand from our local TS. Expensive and now mama wants a new crapless rug.

    MY 16 YEAR OLD HUSKY LOVES THIS FOOD. I MIX HIS FOODS WITH WET FOOD. I DO CHANGE HIS DRY FOOD NOT OFTEN, BUT FROM TIME TO TIME TO GIVE HIM DIFFERENT CHOICES. HE DOES SEEM TO LIKE THIS VARIETY. SO I WILL CONTINUE TO PURCHASE THIS FOOD.
