My two pit-bulls died eating this product
On 3/3/23 I purchased Pure Balance Chicken and brown Rice dog food for the 1st and last time. On 3/11/23 my perfectly healthy 5 year old 88 pound male suddenly vomited and had 3 grand mal seizures. After a trip to the ER, he died one day later. On 3/12/23 my 66 pound female suddenly began vomiting and then went into cardiac arrest. She was rushed in the ER and died the same night. My family was devastated over the back to back losses. My dogs seem to have been poisoned by Pure Balane Chicken and Brown Rice dog food. Everything I type is truth. Please recall this product and investigate!!

    Great dog food
    This is a premium dog food at an affordable price. My 2 year old border collie has been eating the chicken and brown rice for a month. His stools are great and his coat is very soft. Highly recommend!

    Ingredients changed
    Just purchased and switching my dog over to this food. I looked online at the ingredients and it seems good value for the price. Oddly the bag I received has a new ingredients sticker over the old one printed on the bag. This differs from what is listed on the website. I am not overly concerned because the ingredients are generally similar but the new order listed suggests higher quantity of peas and less meat product which may be of concern for some owners. Ideally walmart should update their photos online to reflect the new ingredients.

    No longer plan to buy after 5 times
    I started him on this in February and transitioned from the Hill he was eating while I fostered. Everything went well until May. Then started having supply problems and he started eating less. At the time I thought hot weather he needed less. In July I I top dressed his food with some Hills Science Diet I was given at adoption. Even though that food was older he seemed to eat eat better. Then in June due to no local store available I bought Purina Pro Plan. When started blending or top dressing with that he again are better. There was also some iffiness with the kcal or cup original was 387 then I saw a 323 kcal/cup number. Walmart was unable to confirm number and most recently don't think I could find number on bag. Due to his consumption preference and horrible availability I'm switching.

    My dogs love it, it's the only thing I can feed all my dogs without it bothering their tummies. The con is it seems harder to find in stores. Pure balance Pro does not settle well on their little tummies, so I'm constantly having to search for this one!!

    Best food on the market!!
    Love this food. I have tried all the high end brands and both me and the pups agree this is the best. It doesn't have all the filler products that aren't good for them and they love it so much so they clean their bowl everytime. Best food out there!! Don't waste your money with the “fancy” feed store foods. This is by far the best!! Look at the ingredients.

    Will only use this brand
    Been using this brand of food for about 5 years or so. Before My dog had skin allergies and would develop pink bald spots on his back ,After switching all that went away. Now have heathy, happy dogs.

    Nana loves this food!
