2 Pair of Powerbeats were defective
I purchased Apple Powerbeats 2 in February, 2016 at a cost of $150.00 for use at the gym. By April, 2017 the ear bud broke for no apparent reason. The ear bud simply broke off from the earpiece and was hanging by the wires. Apple replaced it at their cost. In August, 2018 the same breakage occurred with the replacement pair. I did not do anything to damage the ear bud and cannot explain why the ear bud was again dangling from the earpiece. Apple refused to replace the defective unit. Apple stated they would sell me a replacement for $116.00. I checked on line reviews of Powerbeats from another retailer and the same defect was claimed by other purchasers of Powerbeats . Based on my experience and the experience of other people complaining of the same defect, I would never pay $150 for another pair of any Powerbeat model. Anyone can purchase similar style of gym headphones for less than $30 with a great review and user rating, and guaranteed to work with iPhones and iPad Pros. At a cost of $30, they are disposable even if they only last a year. I have purchased 7 Apple products, from an iPad pro to a Macbook pro. I prefer Apple products but these headphones have a manufacturing defect and have a limited life in relation to the amount they cost at $150.

    Highly recommend these earphones!
These are fantastic earphones! I bought them to replace some that were stolen. They have amazing sound quality, fit in the ear great (and various size ear pieces are provided to account for individual comfort), and are easy to use. I never would've spent this amount of money on earphones, but received them as a gift and knew you get what you pay for. The cheap ones I've had don't compare and I do expect these to last much longer.

Love these earphones! Got them as an after Christmas present. I ride on a tractor on our farm and often miss phone calls. Not anymore with my new Powerbeats! Theyre super lightweight and the sound is great!

Not Bad if You Get a Great Deal on Them
I had a pair of Bose Soundsport wireless earphones prior to buying these that my wife borrowed and lost in the airport. No comparison to both sound and comfort from the Bose. The Bose are far superior. These are OK but I wish I would have bought the Bose again. There was a heck of a sale on these and that is what prompted me to buy them over the Bose but after using them now for about 4 months I wish I would have spent the extra $50 for the Bose. The one things that they do well is stay in your ears because of the ear loop. I would only recommend them if it is a cost decision over the Bose.

    Expensive but worth it.
Easy to operate with a good sound & battery life. I never want to take them out.
