We purchased this to shade our vehicle a bit. Did not do well in rain. Puddles on top badly. We took it back to Walmart a week ago, STILL NO refund .grrr

    Great for Outdoor Shows!
    It is somewhat heavy, but that is what you need for an outdoor show. It is very well constructed and made to last. The cover is also sturdy. The carrying bag with wheels is so helpful in moving it from place to place. I have not tried the sand bags yet, because we have used cinderblocks in the past with cord to hold the tent down in case of high winds. I would definitely recommend this product. It also came ahead of schedule which was much appreciated.

    Destroyed Itself Due To Water Collection.
    The rubberized fabric collects water on the canopy. During last night's heavy rain, it collapsed, and I came out to find a twisted mass of steel and fabric. It's too heavy for good portable shelter. While it was up, it was great. But, the water collection issue destroyed it. Go for a less expensive, lightrr-weight canopy, instead.

    Marvelous and truly canopic
    Used once and it seems very sturdy. Definitely easy to set up. Instructions say don't set up alone but I'm a loner, a rebel; and I encountered no issues. That's why I chose the black canopy. Or maybe it chose me. Wheels on the case make it much easier to transport in solitude. For stability it includes sandbags you can fill with the ashes of your enemies. Crom be praised, this is great for shielding my bronzed flesh from the harsh Cimmerian summer suns. I will update after each use.

    Strong and beautiful canopy
    We got this canopy for our grandson to provide some shade for the new swing set. The day we set it up was very windy. Actually there was a storm alert. It was a good test for the canopy. After it was staked and sand filled up in the four bags, the canopy was very steady and held well in the strong wind. We were surprised and thrilled for the quality of the frame. The instructions for how to set it up could be better. A tutorial video would be nice. My husband and I took less than one hour to set it up. I guess its not difficult considering we are not the handy type. I would highly recommend this canopy.

    Not made to keep off rain.
    I hate to say it but this canopy is not as good as I hoped it would be. Had our first rain since I put it up and it leaks water through pinholes in material. I am going to try and find some water proofing to spray on it. Also there is a year already in the stitching where the middle support pole supports the whole canopy. I think they should have included water proofing spray with canopy. Also make the material at the very peak of canopy where spring loaded post supports the peak thicker and stronger. I guess you get what you pay for. Evidently this is just a sun shade and not made for rain. If you need protection from rain this isn't the one.
