My favorite treat let me down.....
See pics, I received a bad batch of cashews in two cans dated the same pack date and lot number. The (1/3rd of the can) nuts in first can were really dark, hard and misshaped not edible. Cashews are generally a light nut and quite large. Tonight I opened the 2nd can and found the same issue...not edible. This is an expensive treat I buy for myself occasionally...they are $5 or more a can. This week for the first time I received an inferior product. Planters is great but they messed up in these two cans. The nuts appeared to be over roasted and perhaps at the very bottom of the roasting area. My thoughts are quality control should have caught this. I got the bottom of the roasting pan that should have been thrown out. I am writing to Planters directly to advise. There was nothing DELUXE about the two cans I purchased.

    Sweet and salty
    I love these cashews. They are sweet and salty and are great for snacking. I also use these in salads sometimes.

    When I picked up 1 of the cans of nuts, it seemed light, so I opened the blue outer top and the seal had broken. When I looked under the seal, the can was only half full.

    Tasty alternative to cake or cookies.
    These cashews have a very tasty and crunchy coating. Its hard to find them in cashew as I cant eat peanuts. Although they are sweet, its a better treat than cake or cookies.

    These cashews are delicious.
    These cashews are delicious. They're whole, so they're big pieces. There's just enough sweetness to them. I love having a few as a snack. They're a little pricey but worth it. I would definitely buy again, and would recommend.

    They are easily the best honey roasted cashew product you can buy and they are reasonably priced at Walmart. I get them as a special treat every 6 months or so. Yum!
