Goodbye gnats!
I love the smell and taste of lemon grass. I've been trying to grow some forever unsuccessfully. One reason I want some if as insect repellent. We don't have many mosquitoes here, but gnats are unbearable. They get in your eyes, nose, mouth, and even ears! I finally got a chance to try lemon grass essential oil. It smells so good. I opened the bottle and immediately the smell takes me to a beautiful spring day. When i feel stressed or depressed, i open it up and just close my eyes a few minutes while I take in the smell. Lately, when I have to be outside with my chickens, or working on the garden, I dab a drop onto my wrists and smear all over my exposed skin. One drop is enough. I spread it on my arms, and even though my hands appear dry, I rub my face and neck. I don't get gnats after that. My kids were fussing with the gnats, all I did was rub my smelly hands on them and they got relief. Should have gotten this a long, long time ago.

Lemongrass Essential Oil First of all I like the scent it's not to heavy ,nice relaxing. I didn't have my sticks so I use some cotton balls in a little dish. I could smell the smell lightly through the house again not you have any I definitely recommend this

    I'm a big fan of some essential oils. I mostly use to diffuse. I love the smell of lemon grass. It creates a nice clean aroma and when I smell that smell it relaxes me. This oil is comparable to some other more expensive brands that I have used and I noticed no difference. This oils diffused well in my diffuser and I will be purchasing again.

    Fresh Citrus-y Scent
    Lemongrass has a wonderful fresh citrus-y scent that's not quite as sour as lemon, but not as sweet as other flowers or fruit. I've always liked this scent, so I decided to use this as a fragrance at home. To make an oil diffuser at home: take a clean narrow-mouthed glass bottle of any kind and mix 1/4 cup of almond or coconut oil with 20 drops of this concentrated Lemongrass Essential Oil. Stir well with a diffuser reed stick and set 5 diffuser sticks in the bottle. After a couple of hours, flip the sticks upside down to allow the scent to be noticed in the air. Make sure to flip the sticks every few days to maintain good scent. One thing I wish this product (and other products of its kind) came with is proper instructions, both for use as a room scent, for medical purposes and for cosmetic use. Trying to find this information online can be quite the daunting task and can be very confusing.

    Such a wonderful product with so many uses!!
    Plant Therapy 100% Pure Lemongrass Essential Oil is a wonderful oil to have to freshen the home and to use as aromatherapy, and it's also a great oil to dilute and use topically when outside among pesky mosquitos and other biting insects. It's a small bottle, but it will go a long way. The fragrance is so delectable; soothing, refreshing citrusy lemon scent. I have a humidifier at home (two actually, one that puts out hot steam, and the other puts out cool steam)—They are both designed to take essential oils, so when adding this to the cool one (as it's summertime now), it's filled my house with such a wonderful scent. I've been loving it. I have not used it yet as an insect repellent, but I'm planning to dilute it with coconut oil and give that a try. There was a recent study that showed the fatty acids derived from coconut oil has long-lasting insect-repelling properties, so add that with the lemongrass essential oil, and I don't see how it won't be even more effective!! Such a great, harmless way to effectively repel insects when we know DEET can cause a plethora of dangerous diseases when it enters the blood stream. I'm so pleased with this product; it has so many uses. I plan to dilute a little in water and put in a mister bottle too, that way I can spray down curtains for an even fresher feel in my home. This is a quality oil, so I'll be considering trying other products that Plant Therapy offers.

    Love this!
    I love this oil. I use it in my hybrid humidifier in my room and it is so strong I can smell it through the entire house. It is so relaxing that I am now hard pressed to change it. The oil itself is really clean and I haven't had any issues with my machine.

    Super essential oil.
    I love essential oils and I wanted to try this Lemongrass oil. The smell is really smooth with a citrus notes extremely enjoyable. I acquired it because I am trying to treat myself with natural products and I am using it to alleviate headaches and stress. As I have a baby I am using it to keep away insects from him. This essential oil is perfect for daily use but you need to dilute it very well or put it on a oil diffuser.

    Works like a charm.
    I was so glad to get a chance to try lemongrass essential oils. We have a terrible amount mosquitos that seem to gather at our front door. We've tried almost everything to minimize their numbers. Some things work for a little while and others don't even touch the issue. I used the lemongrass oil on the wreath hanging on my front door. Before the oils, the mosquitos would hide in it and scatter every time we opened the door. After putting the lemongrass oil on the wreath, the mosquitos, minus one or two, we're gone. It lasted about four days and then I had to reapply. But, it worked and I can actually use my front door without letting in a ton of mosquitos. A bonus is that it smells so, so good. So, guests will be hit with a lovely, pleasant aroma of lemon instead of mosquitos.

    Incredible scent with so many uses!
    I highly recommend this product and scent from Plant Therapy. This oil has so many different uses as well. As you can see in the picture, I diffused it in my office at work and it was invigorating! The others in my office commented on how it reduced anxiety and create a calming work environment. I diffused it at home and it was relaxing and uplifiting for my entire family. Lemongrass smells refreshing like lemons, but is much sweeter. As you can see in the picture, I used it as a natural cleaning agent by adding about a cup of water to 20 drops of the essential oil. It smells so fresh and clean on all surfaces. In the future, I plan to buy the kidsafe oils as well! I also plan to buy a carrier oil, such as coconut oil and add the essential oil to be used in massage for sore muscles. The Plant Therapy website is very user friendly and stresses the importance of quality. Every single batch of oils goes through rigorous testing to ensure high quality products. The cost is extremely reasonable, especially when comparing to other essential oil companies. I highly recommend this product for numerous benefits and to encourage relaxation and a sense of overall well-being.

    The Plant Therapy Lemongrass Essential oil is great for a diffuser. The smell is so clean and fresh. It is undiluted, so if you intend to put it directly on the skin you will have to dilute it first. The lemongrass works as a mosquito repellent, which is great. It comes in a glass bottle with a screw on top. I really like this product.
