hope my cats like it
just got this for my cat hope they like... so y is my car eating it .. is it safe for him eat... so they haven't use it they just look at it

Very disappointed
I have had to change the litter every week. Above is just an example but it is consistently the same. The crystals became saturated with urine after one week. I have to rearrange the crystals manually. The average number of times my cat uses the box is 3.8 per day. Cats urinate on average 2-4 times per day. The claim that it "automatically cleans for weeks", "one fresh tray per month", fell way short of what I expected. It is not really easy to clean as you have to take everything apart. The disposable trays are awkward to fit in a trash bag. Be careful or you will have it everywhere. It isn't very effective in eliminating odors as the crystals become soaked with urine. Sometimes the grate gets stuck and you have to manually shift the crystals around. I have only used a traditional litter box and was so hoping this would be great.

    Put a lid on it
    I'm pretty much pleased with this set up for the cat. I did not buy the privacy cover kit now I want to add that on, but I am unable to find which lid would be compatible with the unit that I have. I'm not sure if I have the original or if I have the second generation I just have already put too much time into trying to figure out which lid is going to fit. So that's my only complaint that accessories that you might want to buy later or not easily identifiable other than that it does scoop the poop. My cat likes to make a mess with the litter so I do need a lid.

    My cat has used the box about 45 times now, she demanded that i change the litter at about 35 and its working for me great. It dosent have any smell good or bad not even when it got used enough that my cat didnt want to use it any more, and my cat and i live in the same room i sleep 5 foot away from her litter box. Not only does it move the solid waste out of the way it also sifts the liquid waste so that its not so concentrated. Any time i lift up the electronics i clean off the sensors and the box has only told me that the sensors were not reading once. There is not much 'storage' for the solid waste so with one cat i find myself lifting it up maybe 2 times a week to scoop the solids out and sifting any wet looking litter around. The counter and light makes knowing whats up and if its all good very easy as well as helping to keep track of how long its been since you emptied the solids out. Finally the litter and disposable tray idea is nice and handy especially to just get delivered however its very expensive at least up front. Depending on how long your cat is willing to use the litter and if you buy more in bulk or not might wind up causing the price to even out especually if you buy more expensive litter already.

    Two Cats - Best Self-Cleaning Litter Box!
    Hi - this is the best self-cleaning litter box that we have owned! We have owned another popular brand. The Pet-Safe product is quieter, more compact, less litter escapes to the floor when the cats exit, and most importantly...does not smell!!! We have two cats - highly recommend - I have already shared with friends.

    Great for finicky cats
    This scoop-free self-cleaning litter box is completely different than your traditional cat litter box. Bravo to the creators of this truly remarkable product.As the proud owner of a very finicky cat, this self-cleaning litter box has been a great solution to a problem I have had with my cat for a very long time. My cat would do his business on the floor if he did not like the cleanliness of the cat litter, so not only was I cleaning up his business from the floor frequently, I was spending so much money on cat litter and having to clean his litter every three days. With this litter box, my cat has not left me any surprises on the floor and he seems so happy with it. Every time he uses the liter, the sensors activate and a rack glides across and clears away any clumps and stores it in a compartment. So every time he steps in the litter, it's clean. I love how easy it is to replace the disposable tray. It's all hands-off for you. Lift the box and slide a disposable litter tray underneath. That's it and you're all done with this fast drying. Cristal's really keep odor at bay, and to me that's huge. They can also last up to thirty days depending on your cat's usage. And I get to save money on cat litter, and now in my home you can't smell that I am a cat owner.

    Well, I love the ScoopFree Self-Cleaning Litter Box. Unfortunately, my cats have other opinions... Jazzy who is about 9 years old refuses to use it. Chevy who is a year old uses it, but once the litter box has went through the cleaning process, Chevy jumps in and plays. The litterbox was easy to set up. I really like the display that tells you the number of times your cat has used the litterbox; however, the total showing on mine is also counting the times Chevy plays in there. Overall I love the ScoopFree Self-Cleaning Litter Box. It does exactly as described! Great product and although my cats have their issues, I am certain that Chevy will eventually stop playing in it.
