School ready!
Pen+gear no. 2 wood pencils are great. This box will last a while or cover many pencils for many people! 72 count box keeps it easy. They sharpen nicely and wrote smooth. Great for writing, coloring in scantrons, tapping on the desk... All the great things you do with yellow no. 2 pencils! The wood is good to and doesn't splinter. It holds the wood and graphite nicely.

Great Pencil
These pencils are made of real wood. The lead is a little soft for no 2, but still writes well. The eraser erases well, but leaves a bit of residue behind.

    these pencils come SHARPENED
These pencils come sharpened already so you don't have to go through the hassle of sharpening them all. These pencils are very sturdy. I just started college and I have been using these pencils for my 6 classes. The wood is not so rough on my fingers when I am writing which is great. The eraser leaves a few dark spots but if you erase thoroughly then you will get it all off. I definitely recommend it.

    Ready to go!
These pencils are great and come ready to use! I like that they come sharpened. The erasers do not leave behind any reside that can happen with most standard erasers. I've sharpened a few of them already; the lead was strong and didn't break easily. My daughter has been using them for school and she hasn't complained at all about them! Plus you can't beat the price!

    Sharp item
These pencils are not a dissapointment. All the tips were sharp and not broken. The lead doesn't seem to be broke up in side like most. Ive sharpened 2 of them quite a bit and lead did not break. The write nicely and mistakes erase with ease. I like the fact that if I dont have a sharpener handy, I have a bunch already to go.

    Really good standard pencils
I love that these pencils come pre-sharpened. They write really smooth for standard no2 yellow pencils. The erasers work really well and don't smudge the ink after use. Highly recommend for basic everyday use while not lacking any quality! They get the job done.

    Great for school!
I have a 5 year old who is starting kindergarten this fall and is super excited to go to school. He says we must have the most pencils as we can. So when we received this, his eyes lit up because 48 pencils is a whole lot of pencils. We are scheduled to go to school full time, but even if something happens because of COVID we are all set at home too. The pencils already come sharpened, which is great for me, but my son really wanted to sharpen them lol. I was happy because no pencil shavings for 48 pencils lol. They are your typical pencil, write really good, and the eraser isn't the waxy one that leaves the color on the paper and the writing is still on the paper. The only thing is I erased one letter and it used up a lot of the eraser. Like literally it was a chunk of it. So we will need to buy some erasers for the top. My son will be happy to add some color to them. Definitely worth it for school though!

    Pencil Perfect
The best pencils that money can buy! As a teacher, I know my office supplies. In fact, I think a love of office supplies is a prerequisite for becoming a teacher. As you can expect, we go through a lot of pencils in my classroom. These pencils sharpen well (you don't need to stand at the sharpener for ten minutes because it keeps breaking while sharpening) and the eraser is great! It's not a smudgy eraser, and it doesn't break off when it is used. If you are still not sure about buying these pencils, see a teacher's eyes light up when you mention Pen + Gear. I guarantee these are their favorites, and they feel as passionately about these pencils as I do. So, make a teacher's day, and buy these pencils for their classroom. You will automatically be a favorite in their book.

    Good pencil
This pencil is pretty good. The lead is nice and dark. I sharpened it half way and there were no gaps in the lead . The eraser however sheds way to much and it didnt erase very well. Its a good pencil tho. I really like how its dark and i dont have to push hard to get it to show on paper. It would even be good as a shader for artist. I recommend them, but I would buy some eraser tops.
